This is one of those days that I really had to stop and remember how far I have come and just how good God has been to me.  I am coming up on my 17 years surgiversary March 17th.
Last week I fractured my foot,  I was really pissed because it was the fault of a silly co worker horse playing.  I went to the doctor and he said it would take 4 - 6 weeks to heal.  When I got that news I was really upset because I walk to maintain my weight.  I had to turn that anger into immediate praise and  say " Lord I thank you" if I was still 400lbs my foot may have never healed.  I also had to remember the times  when I was disappointed I would head to the store for the 3 c's: cookies cakes & chips. OH I thank God for bringing me so far.   I came home and had a bag of carrots with ranch dressing: elevated my foot and watched a movie.    Truely God is good and I have learned to praise Him for ALL things big and small.

Amen Kim! Congrats of 17 years. That is awesome! Sorry about your foot. I can relate. I broke my ankle in 2 places last June (6 weeks after my RNY), and spent 13.5 weeks in a wheelchair. I think we sometimes forget to "Let go and Let God". He is in control of ALL things. Have a great day! =)

Congratulations on your upcoming surgiversary, what a fantastic accomplishment you've made.
You are a great inspiration for us just beginning our journey.  Yes, you're sure right, we must give praise for all things big and small.
