Good Sunday Morning Cali

Good morning everyone and I hope you are taking advantage of sleeping in. I did sleep in for me....40 minutes worth!

I had the pleasure of spending the most of the day and overnight here with my granddaughter Ava. Jeff and I took her to a party were she was really well behaved.....and I think made herself a new friend. Best part to me is when my friends father saw her and he just lite up!!! I do not know how long I will have my little bear today...but I am sure here parents will be here early because they do not like not having their baby at home. I hope they had a good time out last night.

So what are you all doing today? I think the bad weather is supposed to blowing in here later today....I am sure you all will get slammed at the coast.

I know I have to be responsible today and continue working on the yearbook. I tried and tried to work yesterday before I picked up Ava....I got a bit done, but I kept getting network errors on the site....so I went and exercised instead. Oh darn right? LOL

I am also going out to dinner with some friends tonight...there is this new restuarant in Palm Springs called DINKS.....they got a fabulous write up and I am dying to taste a basil martini!

Anywho....I hope you are all doing well...

Rick did you have to go the ER for the steri strips thing? I mean that can be nasty if they get infected. I am allergic to adhesive and I guess those steri strips have some on them but never had a problem with them.

Linda....I surely hope that you are feeling a little better each day!

Michele....I will keep your family in my prayers that your daughter takes a 180. You are right whatever is going on that she needs to be there for your granddaughter. I know you are a good mom and she should know better!

LuLu...are you hiding or are you working? I miss your smart mouth! LOL

Rhonda....well you pooped on Valentines Day....dork....you work to hard all the time and when you get to relax like what the hell...your body is telling you something!

Barb....hmmmmmmmmmm largest school district and considering where you work....could it be Oakland? I know when I was teaching in Oakland it had 90 schools back then. Wherever the job takes you....I hope you land it soon!

Chris...I hope you get out of your down in the dumps soon. I know it must be hard bouncing back and forth with the bf....maybe you look into moving on or making him stay put! How did the little party go with your grandchildren yesterday?

Maureen I bet your friends were bowled over at how you look...however you sound more patriotic than Valentine to me!!! Bet you looked great!

Kim did you finish the sweater yesterday? I bet it looks great too...one of these days you will have to show us a pic of your creations!

Jennirjohn...dont you hate it when they treat you like there is nothing wrong but you continue to have symptoms? That is the way I feel sometimes until I finally got it nailed that it is not in my head. I sure hope that you get to feeling better soon? Are you eating enough I ask because you could be getting low blood sugar at times too causing dizziness.

Delta girl...that is awesome....5 days out and dropping 19 pds...you go girl....make sure you post to the Whacky Wednesday Weigh In post with your great stats!

Yesterday was a very nice day for me - spent some quality time with some great friends.....although I do get tired easy...in fact I had to leave where we were without saying goodby to some people and I feel bad about that....but I couldn't find them....

Today is a quiet day for me...just resting and taking it easy.

Good Morning Calif.........

On Thrusday, I went and spent the day with a great friend. On the way home, I started feel bad, on friday, I was down like a dog. So I have spent the last two day in bed or in the bathroom. It has not been good. UGH! I am head to work today, with the hopes of making it 8 hours, before having to sleep. LOL. I have had this thing with my throat for like 3 weeks. Since before we spent the day in Palm springs. I guess I lost that battle, BIG TIME!!!!

So that is it for me. In a nut shell. Its kinda of sad, DD is spending the weekend at a friends, cause she still can not be left alone, and I had the house alone, and all I done was sleep. Party Animal, I am not. LOL

OK time to shower.

Good Morning. I am here just lurking a bit these days.  I do a quick read by and then I am gone. Life here has been really hectic. I get up really early and go to the gym.  I work like a mad woman.  I am trying to get ready for the MS Ride in October. It is the week after the kids wedding.  Oh, and I also need to look smokin hot in whatever I decide to wear too.

Morning Janine and Cali . . . yesterday was cute with the kids . .. who are all sick AGAIN . .. ugh . .. but little bathtub squirter Thomas the Train things and a rubber ducky provide for lots of amusement . . .even when they aren't in the tub . .. that was cool.

Just puttzin around here before heading to Costco . . .at least it is the early shift .  ..  I much prefer that .. .

As to the BF . . . neither one of us can up and move right now .. .and he retires in less than a year and a half . . . I've put this much time into it ... what is a bit more?  We'll see where it goes.  I don't think I can ever afford to retire . .. probably will fall over on my keyboard lol

Good morning Cali!  I can't believe I'm awake already, lol!  Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  I know I did, spending it with some very special people. 

Don't have too much planned today.  Oldest daughter is coming over for dinner and is requesting curry, which my husband hates.  Guess it's a good thing he is out of town for the next two days, lol!

We did make it to look at 2 houses yesterday and neither one were great. That's ok, because now we will keep looking and keep saving and the right one will present itself at the right time.

I did manage to get Sammi's cold last night so I'm going to take it as easy as she'll let me. Need to go to my mom's  at some point and work on getting her printer working. No long weekend here so I gotta get some stuff done today.

Good morning Janine and Cali Guys and Gals.

Yesterday I did nothing I had planned and it was wonderful.  I stayed in my jammies all day and played, watched TV napped and just pretty much nothing.   So we decided that we were going to to do today what we had planned yesterday, then we watched the news and said we better not.  The weather is going to be very bad that way so we are going to try and figure something out to do up here that we have never done before.  It is going to be tough, but we will figure out something I am sure.!   lol.  I am about to do  a search right now to see if there is anything interesting to see near Barstow, but I am thinking not!  lol.  So that ismy day, we may end up renting a movie climbing back into bed and do just nothing period.  Who knows.  If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
