Happy Tuesday

Hi Cali,

Had a great weekend.  Yesterday , I had my first coloring appt since I have had my locks (black/brown with a violet base).  I feel a lot better about my hair.  Sometime between now and next month, I will get some professional pictures taken.  Saturday, I meet with my friend Laura and we went to the bead & gem show in Santa Monica and had lunch.  Friday, after work, I went to go see Friday the 13th (nothing to write home about).  Sunday, I my friend Chantey called me to say that she would not be going to church due to a family emergency.  I was so relieved, (because I have not finished her sweater- even though I had stayed up all night).  I went to the lys to hang out and work on the sweater and then went to Santa Monica.

Good Morning everyone,

Don't ya just love this rain?  I would love it more if we didn't have to drive out in it today.  My husbands bosses son's funeral is today in Riverside, so we are off to that in about 3 minutes.  I hate driving in the rain, but this is something we need to do.  Dougie has been off work since last Friday, it's pretty nice having him home.  We had such a busy weekend that I didn't even give him his Valentines cards until Sunday.  It doesn't matter to him, I did have one, just couldn't find it and I got the most beautiful Sterling Purple Roses on Sat.  I got my cards on Sunday, doesn't matter after 37 years of marriage we know how much we love each other.  We never take each other for granted, and even tho I get so angry at him at times, he is my Valentine everyday! 

My house is all clean and back in order.  I just want to know why every single dog I had and have, can't get their damn paws wet and poo and pee outside?  I mean for heaven sakes, Vicki is a ****er spaniel, hunting dogs, sporting dogs, you think she would love the rain, but OOOO no, she pooped on my very clean carpet this morning, because she can't get her precious paws wet!  When Doug picked her up from the groomers on Friday, he had to carry her because it was raining and there was no way she would walk it in.  You can bet I would have been dragging her on her leash into the water. 

Darlene, great picture of the two of you.  Rhonda CONGRATS!!!!  100 lbs, is such a mile stone.  OK time for us to leave the house!

A little house work is all I am doing today.Oh and I am going to re-highlight my hairs...Yes, I said hairs there are so few I think I could count them.BUT,I see new growth!!!!! I am soooo glad to see that it is coming back. I knew it would but it is still falling out too. Oh well, it is just hair.

Weekend?  We had a Weekend????  Where?  When?  Wow!  And a 3-day'er at that.  Me, I had Saturday off and did all my house chores (I think - I can't remember back that far) and then had to work Sunday and Monday.  ChaaaaChing!   Old man was starting to calculate how much I made and what we were going to spend it on. I ripped him up short and told him it goes into the savings account for house payments.  I like to keep at least 3 house payments in the savings account.   

I'm all caught up here at work so I've been putzing around, training yet another person and picking on the guys.  It's raining here still and I'm beginning to think we need to either build an ARK or blow up the rubber raft.  My back yard is a lake.   It hit swamp on Saturday and by now it's well into lake status.

My stall has finally broken (I hope).  I've lost the 4 pounds I gained and am hoping by tomorrow I can report I'm down 1 pound.  Whew.  At my meeting with the NUT last week they told me it was official - the bariatric program at Shasta Regional Hospital has been shut down.  Now all support is to come through the doctor's office. 

Tonight I have to take Jayden to Target or Wal-mart or the Boot Barn and buy him a new belt to keep his pants up.  I also promised him a toy for being so good while I had lunch with my friends on Saturday but haven't had the opportunity to go buy it for him since then.  He's such a sweetie.

Hey Janine and the Cali crew!!  I had a wonderful birthday weekend.  I had a rain filled Friday the 13th.  I learned that I owe the Federal and State in Taxes and well then I went out and blew $150 bucks....so what it was MY birthday right.  Oh and I learned that I shouldn't (but I will) buy this wine that I polished off the ENTIRE bottle!! 

Let's see then Val day I spent curled up in the bed and then went to a late night movie date to see...my all time favorite appropriately named after ME (and Jason of course) Friday the 13th movie!  Same old slasher flick, same old can't kill him Jason!! 

Sunday I spen****ching a friend play softball and seeing the movie "Taken" LOVED it, oh and let's just say I have discovered a wine that I can drink MORE then 2 drinks so Sunday I "almost" polished off another bottle but I held myself back...

Then I ended my birthday weekend yesterday going out to lunch and having my shrimp look at me while I ate them and then a movie "Slumdog Millionaire" and then some Starbucks Skinny Carmel Lattee and then pizza!! Oh and let's not forget that I currently weigh 205.6.  I am "just" 20lbs from my "goal" weight.  I just LOVE being in the "normal" crowd of those out there who say I have about 20 lbs to loose...that's ME yall.

So as you can see I had a good time this weekend!!  With only 2 more weeks and weekends in Shelluary I'm going to have to kick it up a notch cause I've only "partied" just one weekend, lol!!  Well this weekend given that it doesn't rain, I'll be heading down to San Diego to meet some fellow OHers for their SD lunch, I'm praying the rain stops by then!!

Hi Everyone!

We went to the doctor's, saw Jenn, took a racewalking clinic last weekend.  We got back and have been busy with coast guard stuff and no power due to storms.  There's more political stuff than I care for in part of my job but I'm dealing with it.  I'm about to pass it off though.  I hate that political office type crap.  I broke my stall and am headed down again. YAY!  Exercising like mad though.  It does work. lol 

New food of the week:  Primal Strip Soy Hickory Strip  Very good!
