being full

I would eat small portions and ate until I felt satisfied.  Believe me, with more dense foods, that would and still gets me that full feeling.  At one month out, I was still having soft foods...chicken came at around 6 months.

Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Rememer that you're not that far out and your body is still healing - I didn't get full feeling for quite a while either - do everything your surgeon's directives - (follow the rules ) and continue to pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you - it will all come together over the new couple of months.

I am only 1 month out from surgery but I know how you feel.  You don't even know if you are full or not but you just stop eating.  I found out last night that is the best way to go.  I tried to drink 10oz of protein and I drank way tooooooo much until my stomach ached.  Then I was thinking I will never ever do that again.  I just laid there rubbing my stomach until I fell asleep.  Believe me it was not a good feeling.  But this morning every thing is back to normal.  So just keep on doing what you are doing.....good luck.
