Is Mucinex DM ok?

I am fighting a bad chest cold, and I think I need a good expectorant and decongestant. We have some Mucinex DM around the house, but I am not sure if it is ok to take.

Any ideas?

Hi Kim, I've taken Mucinex DM since surgery and have had no ill effects from it. It doesn't have aspirin or NSAIDS in it. If fact, I seem to get better sooner now. Hope you feel better! =)
