Anyone from North County San Diego?

I am just curious if anyone on here was near me? I was hoping to find some local friends here. Thanks!

There is a support group that meets at the hospital at Murietty Hot Springs Rd. and Interstate 15, the second Tuesday each month. You'll find many friend there. This meeting is somewhat close to you, and I attend this meeting each month. Anyone is welcomed, no matter which surgeon you used. DAVE

 There are support groups here too. I was kinda hoping to meet others and get together. Like an exercise buddy or group that could meet like at 9:30 am in Oceanside or something like that. Not always for exercise, somtimes just chatting. KWIM?

I'm not sure if it was you I wrote to or someone else. There is a group from all over the San Diego area that meets for lunches once a month.  If you check the boards often you will see Nikki post it.  They are a fun group and that would be a great place for you to meet some nice people to help support you, and also those of us online here manage to do a pretty good job too.

Hope you find someone close to you tho also.

I am not sure if it was you or someone else that told me about that meeting. I was looking for more like a friend that lives close by that can get together for walks or working out or whatever. Someone who I can talk to about what I am going through as my date nears and care and support after. I have few friends IRL that have gone through this. Online support is fine but my loaner computer is very slow and hard to access the internet. My laptop has been in the shop forever. LOL So anotherwords I want to meet more than once a month but I can't drive to far as I am hoping to meet on my break from work. I have a 3 hour break unless we are short handed.

I do plan to try to attend the get togethers that Nikki posts.

Hi Dawn,I live in Carlsbad and work in Vista. My fiance and I are moving back to the Shadowrdge area of Vista at the end of the month. I also had my surgery with Dr. Mueller in October of 2006. I haven't been active on the boards for a while now but I need to get back involved. I could use a buddy too to help keep me motivated.

We live about 7 miles from shadowridge. That is where my inlaws live. Let's be buddies. Let me know when you have time to get together. I have M-F 9:00 am -12:30 pm avail. Weekends are open. Maybe we can get a few more and have a walking group??
