Happy Anniversery To Me -OT

Let me explain.  Yesterday, I came to work late, because I had an appointment.  When I got to my desk, I sent my boss an e-mail saying I was in the office (12 Noon).  She replied that she wanted to see me at 1 pm.  My first thoughts were "OH ! What did I do now?"  Went to work and at 5 minutes to 1 I went to her office.  Got there and she said to come in and close the door.  (Another "Oh !").  So I sat down and she started with, "Kim, I believe you recently celebrated an anniversary, correct?  Was it 15 years or 20?"  I said, "20".  She continued with,
"The firm wants to thank you for your service for the past 20 years by giving you a gift."
Out comes the Tiffany bag from under her desk.  I was floored!
She told me that she wanted to thank me personally and on behalf of the firm.  I was flattered.
She wanted to see what the gift was , so I opened it.  The firm had given me a silver Tiffany necklace with a dangling "T", "&" and "Co"; it was beautiful.  The only thing that I don't like is the fact that it is on a 16" chain (I am not complaining)!  My boss told me that I could exchange it for something else (which I plan to do- I want a bracelet with a heart/lock on it).  Enclosed with the necklace was a note card expressing gratitude for my many years of service.  That was really nice of them to recognize me (and a few others) especially in these tough economic times.

If I think about it, I will bring it to coffee with me tomorrow.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.
