Matthew got hired for a new job after being laid off last July. Don't get me wrong, I am veryhappy for him, I just want to know when my time will come.

Good morning Katt and the Cali gang!!

Don't stress over the job situation Katt.  It will all happen in God's timing not our own.  I know it is hard to wait and see others get jobs while we wait but God has the perfect job out there for you.  I know it will happen for you soon.

The schools up here in the high desert are closed today because of the rain.  The desert is so wet and soggy.  Roads are bad up here today.  I guess that is why they shut the schools today.  My son is happy.  His sisters aren't because they have to watch him while I am at work.

Nothing really planned this weekend.  I may try to go car shopping possibly if I can find someone to take me.  There are a couple of small dealer within walking distance but I don't know.  It is scary buying a used car but I really need one.

Yes, it is raining again!  It gave us a little break for half a day yesterday.  My yard is so soaked it is squishy!  Ms V wants to go out and play and hates it when i tell her it is to wet.  Oh well, she got some new games for her b-day we have been playing to pacify her for now.  Not sure how much longer it will last.

This weekend is pretty mellow.  Have to catch up on laundry and some house cleaning.  My dad is back in the hospital again.  I took him in on Saturday last weekend and they sent him home on Sunday afternoon.  the nurse gave him a call on Tuesday to see how he was doing and made him go into the clinic.  They took him by ambulance to the hospital.  I did not think he was quite ready for realize but Ms v was happy because grandpa was back home!

I am doing NOTHING this weekend...but I can't wait until next Friday when I kick off the official beginning of my birthday Shelluary begins on January 29th this year and runs till Shelluary 28th!!

I will be going for a 4+ mile walk tomorrow cause I have to get ready for my 5K/10K on Superbowl Sunday...

Cali- Not a lot going on with me.  I have a low key weekend planned.  Hopefully I have an opportunity to run without being rained on.

Today is my brother's birthday.  He invited me to his birthday dinner this Sunday in Ontario, but I don't have any money.  So, although I have already accepted, I will have to call him back to decline. 

I started knitting a new sweater last night.   It will be for me and it is a red tweed yarn.  I like it because there's a lot of cabling involved.  Right now I am working on the yoke.

Morning all.  I've been working a gazillion hours this week due to the storms and while I"m soooo tired, I am also counting the OT $$$ that will be going into my mountain bike fund!  (and all the rest after that goes into the Harley fund)

Saturday hopefully brings quiet on the weather front so I can head over for Jayden's Pinewood Derby races.  If not, I'll be working.  I'm in the "hot seat" all next week as my office mate got called out of town for her husband's grandma who is very ill and may very well pass.  Prayers for her and her family.

Back to work I go. 

Puppies are doing great.  Growing like weeds.  I have 3 boys left and hopefully the'll get homes here soon.  Vinnie, Milo and Ogre.  Ogre was such a good boy last night.  I had them out playing last night and he took himself down the hall and out the doggie door to go potty!  He got "good boy"'d all over the place, got a cookie and got praised so much. 

Hang in there sweetie, your perfect job will come too!!! Your feelings are totally normal, so don't worry about it!!!  
Now that my surgery recovery period is over I have to get UBER SERIOUS about job hunting myself.  We are trying to find a place to live and both need jobs badly, so I hear you and we are all in this together, we just have to keep our faith and know that God has it all figured out!!!!

As for our weekend, Karaoke tonight of course and not much else planned.  Monday I head down to San Diego for last postop appts

Hey Kat...

I'm still collecting from EDD as well... our jobs will come. I'm more serious than ever now. At least there are jobs to apply to although all across the country. I personally wouldn't mind getting out of the desert towards San Diego... OC areas... but it's up to the Gods as well as due diligence.

I'm heading to a BB Ingle party to dance my pants off tomorrow night... lol... if the rains stop... the party is tied to the Bob Hope Classic which has been rained out for two days now.

Getting more organized around the home... so when the job offer comes... Kimmy can make a break for it.
