Movin' right along.. then when you least expect it... DUMP!

Dropped my guard today at lunch.. must have been the Friday or Wolf Moon Madness... so I passed up the lunch I brought only to marginally enjoy a catered turkey sandwich and yellow beet salad... but ended up spending the next hour and a half in the bathroom sweating from head to toe and alternating which end of me would explode next, the final act consisting of chills and a terrible empty exhausted feeling... finally after two hours its starting to subside.  Thank God for wonderful co-workers and their concern and compassion - one even offered to drive me all the way home to the East Bay!  Long story short, the lesson I want to share with all of you.. is don't let your guard down not for anything... or else when you least expect it... you end up paying dearly!  I learned my lesson.. til the next time.  Love & Hugs~

Hey girl.  Your very right, we can't let our guard down at all. Just sorry you had to have such a bad exerience to remind you of that. I hope you are feeling better. At least it is the end of your day, or at least close, and you can go home and rest.

Hugs, Eileen

orry to hear you had a bad afternoon.  That is one thing that scare me, we don't know what other people or restaurants put in their food.  Take care.

Rachel,
I'm so so sorry that this happened to you.  It sounds dreadful and frightening.  I'm so glad that your co-works were kind and compasionate to you.  Hopefully this is the last time it will happen to you. Great words of wisdom to never let our guard down!

I carry peanut crackers in my purse when that happens. when at home I do a protein shake and add peanut butter, its helps.

Rachel,

You poor thing.  So sorry you had to go through that but I am so glad you're feeling better.  I totally agree with you, we can't let our guard down and can't trust a caterer to make food that our little pouchies like.

I hope you have a good weekend and have Michael give you a hug from all of us.

Hugs,
Barb

Hi Rachel,

Blech! Sorry you had the dreaded dump! The caterer must have snuck sugar in that beet salad. I wouldn't have thought that lunch could have caused a dump. How scary. I am glad you had nice co-workers who were willing to take care of you.

Thanks for the reminder that we need to be vigilant about what we're eating. YIKES!

Ugh...that sucks Rachel.  It can be a challenge eating out anymore.  Best to stick with what we know.  Nice to hear your coworkers are such good people.  Have a great weekend.
