Topic: If I can still buy a Shamrock Shake at McDonald's...
I can still make corned beef and cabbage for dinner.  It will only be the fourth time I've had it in the past 10 days, but I can't get enough of it.  Making buffalo wings for the kids - I like them but would rather have the corned beef.

Taking the day off of working out.  Did yoga last night and didn't finish until 10pm.  I really like that workout but 90 minutes is a long time when you are working that hard.  Tomorrow is legs and back - another workout that I really like.

Tomorrow is fish Friday.  I have to get my bloodwork done in the morning before I eat so I will probably take some hard boiled eggs for my trip to work.  For dinner I am going to be bad and make some fried shrimp.  Planning on using corn meal instead of batter so I guess it could be worse.

If anybody is tired of reading my boring entries, please feel free to post something else!!

Have a great day and be healthy!

I only get bloodwork to Irgau once a year, but since I see my primary twice a year (cause I'm an old man), I end up with bloodwork twice a year.
How fun on Wednesday!

I generally shop at SuperFresh or Giant and couldn't find the fish at either store. I'll have to check at the ShopRite.   I am determined to find this fish.  LOL

I have bought it at Safeway and Pathmark but I would guess any grocery store with a fish department would carry it.

Last week I made fish tacos with it (just cut it into cubes adn cooked it in some olive oil and taco seasoning) and my family loved it!

Topic: I'm back!!
Looks like we are in for another nice day or two before the rain is back.  I am really digging the nicer weather!!

I made a follow-up appointment with my surgeon (Irgau) for next month.  Haven't seen him or had blood work done since my 18 month follow-up a year ago.  He told me to come back in a year.  I will be interested to see how my labs come back.  I know a lot of people get bloodwork done every six months - I am going to ask him if I should as well.

I hope everyone has a great humpday - it's all down hill from here!!!

Elissa-
Thank You SO much! I looked up Dr. Schwarz in my provider look up thing and I don't see one in Yorklyn... there is one in Newark though. Wonder if he works out of two offices?
I will definitely email you for the support group meeting information!!!
I already feel less alone

 Hi There.

My PCP is Dr. Cynthia Heldt on Lancaster avenue in North Wilmington.  656-2069.  I have been her patient for about 2 years now and really love her.  She's extremely informative of WLS and very supportive.   I was the one who brought up the topic and she put me in touch with Chrias.  Dr. Wynn did my Gastric Bypass.  Good Luck in your search.

Hope everyone stays well. See you when I get home.
