the weather is great. not too hot not too cold. . .
took it easy today. just straightened up the house.
what i ate:
cereal w milk x 2
yougart
pro drink 1 pt
cashews 1/4 c
crystal lite 1 pt
i packed a bag of food/drink for the day. i never felt deprived. i could go into the bag and get whatever i wanted. i picked the yougart over the bar. i drank the pro drink before the crystal.
Great Beginnings South Lap Band Support Group Meeting was good. there was a rep from ARDYSS there. we tried on compression garments. although a bit difficult to get in (at first) the results were interesting. i could see wearing this to work or places. comfortable. i did look good in it. gave insight what i could look like. . . . .
the pain level is about a 4-6. taking advil every 4 hrs. gotta keep moving.

Well, at this point it should be good night. Had a really good day today. Hubby stayed home yesterday and put the new radiator in my Explorer so I officially have a vehicle again. So today for the first time in about 12 weeks or so I went to the mall for my daily walk. It had become something I loved to do before I had the surgery for the revision of my hip replacement and it felt so good to be back doing something I love again. After walking I ran some errands and spent some time out at Battery park in Old New Castle .... soaking up some good Vitamin D.
Tomorrow is going to be busy... I'm getting up early and doing a bit of cooking and going for my walk again and then meeting my best friend at the Farmer's Market for some shopping. Should be a good day.

Thanks, Joanne. I'm very relieved with the Dr's prognosis. Icing it has really made a big, positive difference already, even though I've only done it twice.
Yes, the new furniture is PERFECT! So much more cushy and much easier to recline and incline.

Judy, I found this really big windchime made out of shells. It makes mine look like midgets. Just had to buy it. Also found 2 quacker factory shirts for $.50 each. A brand new bathing suite for Alexus for $4. It came with a cover up too. One of the beach shops must of made some good donations. Hummus is so appropiate for a eating room. LOL !
Thanks ! I had a great day. One of Alexus's friends and her Mom came over for dinner. I fixed spaghetti with angel hair pasta. It was really good since I hadn't had it since I don't know when. Made brownies for dessert but burned them. Oh well I guess someone was telling me we didn't need them. See you lighter. Joanne

Good afternoon!
What a great day out! A little chilly but still generally nice out.
I love to go to Good Will or the thrift store in Newport. I can usually find something really good. My daughter gets tickled when I can find her some Abercrombie and Finch or Aeropostle.
I having my kitchen/ breakfast room painted tomorrow. Can't wait until its done! My color choice is Hummus. I think it'll bring out the yellows in the stone back splash.

I thought the bump on the bottom of my foot may have been a blood clot (I had one a number of years ago on my other foot) But GOOD NEWS! it turns out it's really only an irritation caused by me most likely stepping on something while going without shoes. So all I have to do is ice it for about 10 -15 minutes two times a day for the next few days. I should be back to new by the weekend. Whew! What a relief! Oh...and since my last visit with the doctor (March 2nd) I've taken off another 9 POUNDS!!!! So so SOOOO proud of my accomplishments!!!
