Meet SPOT!
This is Spot, my male GSP. Isn't he cute?
I rescued Spot from a pet store. They were going to euthanize him because he had pneumonia and was generally failing. He was 4 months old and weighed 12 lbs.
The pneumonia was treatable but what he really needed was a home. He got better quickly and even reached the correct size for his breed. He has been a wonderful companion and is my running buddy. Whenever there's no ice!
Spot never knew me when I was heavy. He has always taken it for granted that I would run and play with him. He's a great dog! And he hogs the covers!
Awww, so cute!!! I love the furbabies!! I hope to one day become the fabulous person that my dog already "thinks" I am!! (I heard that somewhere and thought it was just perfect!)

He is soo adorable!!! I can't believe a pet store could be so cruel! I guess you were meant to be there at the right time....I'm sure he loves you every moment of the day for saving him! Besides, he wouldn't care what size you are...my dog loved me when she was alive (I was a whale her whole life).
How old is Spot, Patty?
There are never any problems, only solutions. quoted by a dear and special friend!!!
My stats:
Starting weight 234 lbs Height 5 ft 6 in
Goal in 7 months (127 lbs)
Currently: 120-123 lbs
Tops Small Bottoms size 2!!!! UPDATED: 11/11
I love that breed and Spot is a doll. My oldest grandson that's what kind of dog he wants when he is on his own.
I have three furbabies...two are rescues. One had a badly broken leg when I got him. He is fine now...all put back together and he has become my constant companion. My other two are older and they love me but this guy has to check on me even in the middle of the night...he comes in sticks his wet, cold nose on me to see if I'm ok. I love his attention.
B
Springer Spaniel, right?
Wow, as you know, I think you're an angel, you and Dan! You are the kindest folks I know! I'm glad to hear that he has recovered and gained to a normal weight, even!
Bless you, kind souls!
