The same thing happened to close to 4 years ago. I lurk every once in a while and throw in my two cents about the DS to NEWBIES only.
The way it used to be, it seemed to be a group of RNY party animals that lived for their next opportunity to get together and get drunk. (photos posted as proof)

I for one thank god I saw some informational posts regarding DS because even though I initially wanted this surgery I got discouraged and was going to settle for a surgery I didnt want. You guys with your wealth of information made me think twice and I hope make many more people think twice. I mean why not have the surgery with the best track record?! People never cease to amaze me on these boards though. I have seen some horrible reactions to even simple questions. Some of these people are like school children and make others feel like they should just cower.

ETA: Oh good grief -- that was a grown-ass woman writing with the grammar and spelling of a fourth-grader? And she thinks she's going to go to law school??? I'm sure there are a lot of things she can do when she "grows up," but writing for a living (after applying critical thinking skills to the subject) isn't one of them.

Highest Known Weight = 370# / 59.7 bmi @ 5'6"
Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

I looked at mswannabealawyer's profile and she had a son GRADUATING from high school. In fact, she said has a photo of a girl and say it's her oldest of FIVE kids!!
So I guess she's older than we thought. Maybe not emotionally, lol.
