Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

Of course I couldn't resist going over to the CA board to see what all the ruckus is about. Isn't it amazing how you can read someone's posts and get such a vivid picture of what they're like?

Like, some people use this BIG, BLUE kind of print! Not just blue, not just large type, but BOLD, TOO! Kind of like I'm shouting every ******g word I'm writing!

Gee, do you think I might possibly talk this way too? So loud that I dominate every conversation I'm in? So incessantly that no one else can get a word in edgewise? Maybe I'm so grating and irritating that everyone thinks I'm from New York City?

It is very l;ate here, but I must tell you all what happened with me. I use to post all the time on the Cali board when I was an RnYer. So about in May of 2007, I think, after finding out that I may be able to get a revision, and after researc hing some of the DS, I posted a note on the Cali board that I was considering going for a revision to a DS. OMG! Seriously people, you think I said I was going to cut off some heads. The Cali people (several of them) got bent out of shape. Some called me crazy, someone said I need to see a shrink, someone else said I did not understand what would happen to me with the DS, several just putting me down. I was dissed badly so I did not post there on that Cali board for several months. Then after I had seen Dr. K and got vindicated that I was a good candidate for a DS, I went back to the CAli board and said what Dr. K said, and I was still outed for thinking "such evil thoughts?" I lurked there every once in a long while, but not very long or for very often. So yeah, they can be mean and evil people on the Cali board, though I bumped into one gal tonight at Target in Stockton who just had a new baby, and she was as sweet as ever. Yeah Kristy you have beautiful babies.

Hi Karen, I returned to the California board to lurk at the same time that you posted your e-mail in '07 and was flabergasted at the responce people gave you. I am pretty sure that I offered you some positive message. I do know that I went to your profile to print off the reasons you want a DS so that I could consider that option and now I plan to use them in my Kaiser appeal. Now, I find that I am attacked for requesting less antagonism and more support and tolerance on the CA board. A woman created a topic about my e-mail to her that has since been deleted. I guess I hit a nerve or something....
