ANYBODY HAD DR. DENNIS SMITH IN ATLANTA DO THEIR DS

I NEED TO FIND SOMEBODY WHO HAS HAD SURGERY WITH HIM.  I WAS GOING TO HAVE DS WITH JOHN HUSTED, BUT HIS HOSPITAL IS NOT COE CERTIFIED YET.  BEFORE I DRIVE TO GEORGIA, WONDERED IF ANYBODY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT DR. SMITH OR HAD SURGERY WITH HIM?  [email protected]

Dr. Smith is a talented, intelligent individual and surgeon.  Several of us on this board have had surgery with him and almost everyone of us has had an easy recovery, relatively speaking.

I'm 7 weeks out, down 45 lbs.

Which insurance do you have. When I spoke with BCBS Fed they said it had to be at a CoE, but the woman I spoke with at BCBS said the hospital would be certified soon.

I started the process with Dr. Smith but switched to Dr. Husted. Dr. Smith was out of network for me and they would not cover him.

A close friend of mine had surgery with Dr. Smith last Aug. She is at goal and was complication free. She has nothing but great things to say about him. All the best with your surgery.
