I apparently have marmoset genes according to an ex boyfriend who said I used to make squeaking, chirriping noises in my sleep. He expected to open his eyes and see a silent sea of monkeys waiting instructions from their queen. I was quietly chuffed! To date a house hasn't fallen on my sister!
As for the hypotension episodes...very nasty! Did they look at your thyroid gland? Might be worth looking into that since you have also recently have fast weight loss.
Anti-hypotensives might be the way to go...30beats per minute is VERY slow unless you are competing in the Olympics any time soon.

scary "little episode", I've had it happen too, don't know what it was but it only happened once and hope it never happens to either of us again.

Trish what hospital did they take you to? If anything ever happens to you, try to get to Ottawa Civic and tell them to get Dr. Yelle, he knows about DS and has performed it. At QCH there are two general surgeons who know about DS because they have done hernia repairs on a few of us and that is Dr. Syme and Dr. Winckel.
It's terrible that they wouldn't all Dr L, Ontario health care drives me crazy : /
