I am not following.  Are you having pain in strange places?  Was your procedure lap or open?  I understand the gas they use for lap procedures can produce shoulder pain.  But any unusual pain should be discussed with your surgeon.

At 2 weeks and some out, I had little twinges around a couple of the surgical wounds. Like something pulling a little. I was told it was my body healing from the inside out and maybe some adhesions forming. At 3-4 weeks out, I remember some shoulder pain that I didn't realize was trapped gas from the lap surgery until a week or so later when I read about it on the LW board.

Okay I hurt on my right side near the bottom of my my ribs. It also hurts in the same place on the my back. I was just really wondering if anyone else had this problem. I hurt here when I had my last child. I told my doctor about it when I saw him last he said if it kept on we would have to run test. I don't think I am healed enough for the tests yet. One of the tests he was talking about was where they run the camera up the bottom side.I guess it is also close to my kidney. I was just hoping maybe someone had pain in the same spot so they could share their experience. Well I told him about it and he just scheduled me an appt. for a week away. Well it hurts and I want to know what it is. :0(

Did you get your gall bladder out?  Sounds like it could be gall bladder pain, or -- even if he did take it out, or you had it out years ago -- you could even have a stone in your bile duct.

But most likely, it is just plain old post-surgery pain.  If it is either of the above, it will get worse.  Otherwise, it will stay the same or get better, I would guess.  But I'm not an MD.

if you wait long enough, it'll stop hurting and just go numb, like mine!! ; )

as for pain, it hurt like that, i think, for me, until the stitches dissolved. I sneezed really hard one day and it sort of popped, hurt, and i panicked, and then the pain went away! *lol*
