OdorBan - the cheapest bathroom deoderizer
Sam's Club sells a product called ODORBAN in concentrated form. It is a disinfectant and deoderizer as well. You can mix it in varying strengths for different purposes. A gallon of the concentrate sells for $9.99 (approx.). It smells like eucalptus (msp? too lazy to ck spelling).
I have used this for the past three months and mix up a gallon using the concentrate. Then I fill up an old AquaMist deoderizer bottle and WHAM, I am set for a week or more, then refill for the mixed gallon again. TheAquaMist bottle dispenses the deoderizer in a fine enough spray that the floor isn't wet nor any other surfaces. To be blunt, I spray inside the toilet directly since afterall that is where the ODOR I am fighting is coming from - makes sense to me. The product says it kills the germs that cause the odor, not just masking the odor.
You can't beat the price. And I don't mind mixing it up at all. Since it kills germs, I use it all over the bathroom when cleaning (countertop, bathtub, etc. ).
Anyone else use this?
PS: I am also using a small squirt bottle of bleach to fight the dreaded ORANGE Stuff. Just a squirt and it all disappears without having a toilet brush that looks orange. YUK and TMI, right !?
I used to use Odorban, when I had a Sam's Club membership... I LOVED the way it smelled!!
Might have to find someone with a membership because I think that will work amazing in the bathroom come to think of it..
As far as the orange stuff goes... I've only had one episode of orange stuff... and it was droplets... that was the morning after I ate Brok's pizza for dinner... Is that good, bad, or indifferent??

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway. Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible. (Bee Movie)

Sounds great! I love the smell of eucalyptus!!
Now....who do I know that has a Sam's membership? :-)

We have a septic tank and my hubby is very particular about the chemicals that get flushed here. We had to have our entire drain field replaced and a new one put in. I wish we had city sewer so I didn't have to worry about bleach and other stuff like this going in the tank. Just something to consider if anyone else has a septic tank. You can really mess up your system with a lot of chemicals.
