On the journey to losing weight, your friends & family will be the first people to try to knock you off. They do this not out spite, but out of being convicted and knowing they should do the same. It's easier to put someone down for doing the right thing, than for them to actually do it. So at your next family re-union or wherever you are eat your chicken and broccoli and smile when they make jokes about you, they are jealous!

I'd take a cheese and sausage platter. Or a platter of fresh cut raw veggies with a good fatty dip, like spinach dip.

You could always do Deviled Eggs or Bacon Wrapped Scallops. I think both are delish and DS friendly.

How do you make them? I always cook them to long and they don't taste good.

Take lil smokies, wrap bacon around them. Splenda brown sugar, a bunch mixed with a little bbq sause, just a smidge. Make like a glaze with the sugar and bbg sauce. You could even add a few drops of mustard if you want. Drizzle glaze over smokies. Bake until bacon is done, YUMMMMMMM

BTW us toothpicks to hold bacon on and then you can use them to eat with. Promise these are delish!!!!!!!!!!!

You could take the cheese ball with crackers for other people and fresh veggies for peeps that don't want crackers.

Or you could take meatballs with a sauce.  Meatballs are ALWAYS a hit in my world!

Bacon wrapped anything! LOL.

I bring ****tail weenies with dipping sauces, bacon wrapped steak bits, cheese, etc. You can find good appetizers on the Atkins boards.
