Happy Thursday all....I'm feeling like a parade balloon - had lunch out and let's just say I'm full of gas from the flour tortilla....yikes...wi**** would just come out but it's stuck!!!!!

B - 2 bites of sausage/egg/cheese croissanwich, 1/2 Rockin' Roll protein bar (LOVE this!!!)
L - 1/2 steak/mushroom/cheese quesadilla with tons of sour cream, 3 tortilla chips and salsa
S - Other 1/2 Rockin' Roll protein bar
D - 3 oz chicken breast dipped in Caesar dressing
S - Nothing...no room with all this dang gas!!!

OK - so I just bought a 24 pack of these Labrada Rockin' Roll bars....they are heaven and I mean TRUE HEAVEN!!!  Why haven't I tried these before???  I know they have 16 carbs which is kinda high but with 21 grams of protein and 16g of fat I don't think they are too bad.  I hope not anyway!

Vites - Missed my afternoon batch with all this gas....gonna do my bedtimes tho

Fluids - 74 ozs

I think your stomach is trying to tell you something about eating white flour foods...

Rockin' Roll bars are great but don't let them take over. If your weight loss slows, try substituting the Rockin' Roll bar for a meal or cutting back to 1/2 a bar as a snack.

YES - I definitely know that white foods are NOT my friend!!!  After horrible gas last night I ended up in the bathroom all morning this morning....I won't be trying that again!

Thanks for the heads up abotu the Rockin' Roll bars...I do love them so but you are right - too many carbs and not enough protein for a meal.

You're the best!!!

I agree - your low carb numbers are incredible.  You are an inspiration.

I'm doing the happy dance.  Found Julian bread in town!  Plus it was a good food day although I learned the whole buffet experience is so different post DS.  Luckily the people I was with were willing to linger for almost 2 hours talking and going back for more so I didn't feel completely ripped off.
B- Muscle milk light  (15 protein, 6 carb)
L/dinner  - part of a chicken thigh with skin, few bites baked fish, shredded beef, sliced beef, caesar salad with egg and cheese , bite of sparerib (est. 51 protein, 6 carbs)
Avoided all carby foods and even resisted a bite of dessert bar offerings, so had 'cheat' of a few bites Dark Chocolate, chili, cherry bar.  (1/3 bar = 12 net carbs & 2 protein.
S - slice Julian bread slathered in crunch almond butter (18 protein, 9.5 carbs)
Bedtime - protein iced tea drink (25 protein, 1 carb)

Totals - Protein 112, 29 net carbs!

I'm loving my DS!
