Dustin, I love your story and your attitude!  I am 5 months and just starting to feel like "myself" again and it has made all the difference in my attitude about having surgery.  I too wanted to pay it forward even before I had surgery and was really faking it until a short while ago. 

I'm so sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis, but I'm sure there is some comfort in finally getting a diagnosis.  A very close friend and her wife are going through the same thing and my thoughts and prayers are with both families.
