RUN. Run away as fast as you can. And thank the LORD you posted this. There are other physicians, take the advice here and do NOT utilize this surgeon.

I had my DS surgery done by Dr. Juarez a month ago and he is fantastic! My BMI was 42. Some insurance companies require you to have a BMI over 50 to have the DS unless you have more than 2 co-morbidities, which was the case with my insurance. I'm sorry you've had such a hard time with this process. St. Lukes and the Bridges Center have been wonderful to me, they call once a week to see how I'm doing. Dr. Juarez himself called me once when I had an allergic reaction to one of the vitamin supplements. But by all means, you need to find a surgeon that you are happy with. I couldn't be happier with my choice though
