I also saw her last fall a****erloo & she is great. Definately go to hear her if you can at all possibly make it. She is very inspiring. She came to Waterloo at the best possible time for me. Just 10 days prior, I had a hysterectomy instead of the scheduled gastric bypass. I was depressed & frustrated because my surgery had to be postponed 3 months. Hi Lynda, I just re-checked the paper & said it was free to attend "Thompson will share her informative & inspirational message with Siouxland audience at a free public program on Thursday, Sept 16th from 6-8 p.m at the Marina Inn & convention center in South Sioux, NE. That was a quote from the paper & I also just called one of the committee members & she isn't aware of any charge either. Maybe I've been misinformed? Let me know where you heard a $5 charge. it was on the flyer i got at mercy hospital. they might of changed it i am not sure but when we were at mercy a week ago it was 5 bucks to help cover it. not sure now....let me know for sure ok....lynda
