Billing question

I'm on Medicare and they send notices on who, what and when they pay for services billed (notice I didn't say services rendered lol) For the appt after RNY surgery those are all billed separate? I thought some of them would have been included in the surgery bill. Anyone know?

Sorry, can't help there. I think that each program bills differently. Hope that you don't end up paying for too much!! God bless, Andrea

Usually all services are billed separatly..the hospital, surgeons, anesthiaologist, nursing, follow up appointments..everything is seperate. not sure if that is what you were wanting to know...

Yeah that answers it. From the surgeon who as of April refuses to see me anymore, he's just now billing Medicare $120.00 for every visit he saw me after surgery and refusing to help me. Wish I could get away with that!!
