I just got done with my 6 month diet, its really not that hard, just show them you can lose weight go once a month to the doc and talk about it. Join Weigh****chers for the 6 months and u will lose some.

Hi Bugaloo, I also had lap band surgery on Aug. 5th but with Dr Cahalan at Mercy. I went in on Tuesday  and I didn't have staples only steri-strips and he removed them . I was told to shower with them and they never came off so he removed them.  How are you feeling and what do you get to eat??? I'm on soft foods, unjury drinks, broth, pudding,popsciles. yum,yum. I am really am ready for some eggs, meat, ect.  I've lost 24 lbs and my  insison where the port is is tender ,but I am very pleased how the sugery went.  keep in touch, Margo in Ames

Hi Nelly,  good to hear from you.  I had my 1st appt. since surgery today and am doin great. Dr. took tape off and said he'd see me in 6 wks for 1st fill.  Next week I go to the nutrietionist.  I'm really getting sick of the food I'm on and would really love and egg or something different!!  Keep intouch!
