My first week I went to Grays in Mooresville and got the Mashed potatos and white gravy.. 3 teaspoons of that taste was like eatting the WHOLE meal.. chicken and all. I got a side of mashed pot and gravey to last almost a week but it was worth it!!! The second week I started eatting string cheese.. OMG I was in heaven mashed pots and string cheese and milk... WHAT did I do??? Yes I had those feelings but after the first 22 pounds I never asked myself that question again... come here and vvent often!! I am in Mooresville if you need a close buddy.. Linda

Hello Tina, I loved my sugar free popsicles for the flavor! They were a wonderful treat! My hubby made my instant mashed potatos with chicken broth and it was delicious. Another goodie was a can of refried beans heated in the microwave, then add shreaded cheese...stir...then fill 2 of my 1oz cups and put a dab of sour cream on it! (one container of this can last for about a week) OMGoodness it was delicious! I swear I moaned so loud eating it my hubby rushed into the livingroom to see what was wrong with me!! LOL You can even get the pinto and cheese already made from taco bell and just measure out what you need. I nevr liked refried beans before but love them now! Give it a try! Great for protein too! Hang in there and it will get better! Trust me it is soooooo worth it! Hugs! Marianne

I am 6 weeks out, and it gets SOOOO much better! I was also freaking out afterward, and hating life (and the full-liquid diet). I transitioned myself to soft foods and became much happier. I feel like I eat pretty normally now and can eat the same things that my family eats pretty much. I even went to Don Pablos for lunch today like my old "normal" self. Hang in there! The first 3 weeks were pretty rough for me and I really thought I had made a horrible mistake, but I am so happy now. I weighed in this morning and have lost 34 pounds, and I have about 100 pounds left to go. That number seems so huge, but it dawned on me that my almost-4-year-old weighs 35 pounds and it is like I have lost an entire preschooler! When you start noticing the weight loss and start eating more normally, you'll feel much better! Belle
