The Latest on Jennie Biggs
Dear Friends,
I just wanted to drop in a say hello and give you and update on Jennie. Ann and I visited with her last Wed. which was her one year anniversity since surgery. She was in the best spirits I have seen her in since I have been visiting her. I have an appointment in the morning and will drop by and visit her then.
If you know of anyone else is at St Vincent's tomorrow let me know so I can pop my head in.
I am doing great and have returned to my ministerial studies so you may not see me on the board to often. I will pop in to see what is happening.
Here is the message I received from Tom this afternoon. Let's all commit to prayer for Jennie at noon this Friday when she undergoes what I pray will be her last surgery.

Dear Friends and Family,
Greetings again from Room 261, St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Jennie and I would like to thank all of you for your continued daily prayer. They took my dear Jennie went down this morning for tests to find out exactly where the fistulas are located and how much fluid they are putting out. This test was required before her surgery on Friday. The fluid she had to drink for the test intensified her nausea, but this afternoon it is once again under control. Please pray that her Pic-line (number 13) will continue to remain bacteria free until after the surgery on Friday. At that time, they might decide to replace her Pic-line with one in the other arm. I hope and pray that she will soon not have a need for a Pic-line and G-tube, as her body heals after the surgery. Here is her address while in the hospital again for those who asked:

Jennie's visitors since the last update have been her adopted sister, Sandy Thomas, who stopped by on her way to visit her mother, and her niece, Christine Smith, who made a trip down to the hospital on Friday night and colored her hair.
Once again, I have a special request for all of you prayer warriors. At noon on Friday, please join me in prayer for my dear Jennie, Dr. Gupta, Dr. Diaz, and the other members of the surgical team. I will be asking the Lord to surround the surgical team with His holy spirit, to give them knowledge, and to guide their hands. I will also be asking the Lord to calm my dear Jennie's mind, to ease her pain (especially in the recovery room), and to give her comfort and healing. I will also be asking the Lord to continue giving me strength, and perseverance, and thanking and praising Him for what He has already done.
Blessings to you all,
Tom & Jennie
Dan, Brenda and I went to St V to visit Cheryl Cormany who had surgery this morning. We stopped in to see Jennie, but she wasn't in her room, maybe she was away getting tests. Please pass to her and Tom that we're sorry we missed her.
Sounds like you'll only be in town in the morning. We're working until 3 so hope to see you one of these times. My work number is 510-5107 in case you are here longer in the day.
Good luck on your appointment.
