5 day pouch test starting tomorrow !!!!
Floyd told me today he is also joining us in this. No floyd I am not letting you out of it. You can do it!
The first two days are all liquids. You can have as many low-carb protein shakes as you like to satisfy hunger or cravings. In addition drink at least six 8-ounce glasses of water each day. The purpose of all liquids is to break any snacking, grazing or processed carbohydrate habits. In addition the liquids will work to cleanse your system and prepare you for the following three days.
Try to reduce your caffeine intake as well, but do not stop caffeine cold turkey or you will feel sick and frustrated potentially losing the desire to continue with the pouch test.

Thanks for getting this started Robin. I am glad to be participating.
Thanks for guilting me into doing this with you. I've had my morning latte and more water than I usually drink in an entire day. I'm now drinking a Ice Cream Banana flavor protein drink....no ice cream in it, but it's not bad. Even when I was a new post-op, I never did protein drinks so this is different for me.
I weighed myself this morning so I can tell how well this works. I had gained 30 pounds since I reached my lowest. It's time to get back on track, so thanks for helping me decide, Robin.

It is sooooooooo much harder than I thought it was going to be. I am hungry. I have limited myself to one diet coke. I have been savoring it all day. I have had about 16 oz. of a protein drink, (yucky), and about 36 oz of water so far. (flavored of course). I had Campbells tomato soup for lunch. I also weighed myself this morning. I am hoping to get that last 8 lbs off. I am planning on a bike ride and an hour or so of Zumba tonight. I do have a slight headache (caffeine withdrawal) so getting ready to take something for that. Good Luck everyone and keep us posted. I have also found this quite hard to do. it is now 2:05 and have had 2 protein shakes. I am drinking water. I have a headache but think it might be carb withdraw. I am looking forward to the scales moving and I know this is only going to be for 5 days. I can do it and I know you can do it also! I will be posting shortly the day 2 requirements.
