Prayers please!!!

Ok you all I am in need of some prayer help!!!  I know you all will be a big help in letting the man in charge know that I need his help!!!  I have been having some big health issues!!!  About 10 days ago I started to have some chest pain and didn’t start to panic, I have had angina for a few years and CHF for a few years.  Then when I had my heart attack I had my stints put in and the pain was gone after that.  But as the day went on I really started to become more uncomfortable and started to feel short of breath or unable to breathe.  When I got to the hospital, I was put on a monitor and taken to the cath lab.  They found that one of my stints had become 80% blocked and that it needed to be cleared.  They did that and put me back on several of my meds!!!  I went home a few days later and have been ok with my heart, but my mind and spirit need some help!!!  I so wanted to be done with all these heart issues!!!  I want to be around to see my kids grow and am so worried that they will be without a Mom!!!  Please say a prayer for me and help me!!!

Carmen, I'm sorry that you're experiencing problems with your stint. Look at it this way, the majority of the blockage probably occurred from before you had your RNY. You just needed the gunk flushed out. Now, you're starting fresh with it...and I know Dr. Kracker isn't going to clog you up the way Ronald McDonald did! I know it's hard being back on the meds...but as you said, you want to see those kids grow up..and their kids as well! I'm actually on more meds now than I was pre-op!! But I wasn't a post-menopausal, hypoglycemic, woman with bad feet that needs a handful of vitamins to boot back then. I am now. That's life. But I'm going to Chance's kindergarten graduation today, and I'll be around for his college one as well! You're going to be around for a very long time as well!! I think God knows that we need angels here on earth and Carmen, you are one of the sweetest angels I know and I do believe you are here to touch people's lives, as you have each of ours. There are still plenty of people who don't know you yet so your job on earth is far from over!! Sherri

Awesome Father, You know Carmen's heart better than anyone, You formed it in her mother's womb.  Please heal her heart.  Heal her mind, take away the fear.  Calm her spirit to enable her to face the challenges in her life. Thank You for your presence in our lives.

Dear Carmen, I am so sorry to learn of your problems with your heart again.  I am so glad that you got to the hospital and got it checked out.  Carmen, remember that with your tremendous weight loss that you are so much healthier and your heart doesn't have to work nearly as hard as it did a year ago.  I know it was disappointing to have this problem and to go back on some of your meds, but it is sure better than the alternative.  You have overcome some tremendous obstacles over the last 13 months and I have every confidence that with God's help, you will overcome this bump in the road as well. Hi Carmen,  Gosh girl, I'm glad you got your plumbing cleaned out- gotta be all that gunk from before WLS. Now just rest assured that you are FINE!!! Alot of us have to take "life maintanance" meds. ( I take synthorid, harmones, RLS meds. arthritis meds. plus the daily vitamens & calcium) so no fear- ok?!! Remember God loves you perfectly, and perfect love casts out "fear". It has nothing to do with us, so when those thoughts drop in- tell them where to go!!  Okay??!! Know that I have you in my prayers and  our Heavenly Father has His hands wrapped around you.I love you girl, and know God has lots of good plans for your future- seeing those kids graduate, grow up, marry, have families of their own, happy, healthy retirement with your honey, and a lifetime of joy!!! HI Carmen, I'm so sorry you are going through this.  Trust that God has a plan.  As I said to Jodi, perhaps you loosing all this weight was part of the plan to get you healthier so that your body could take care of this issue and you will be ok.  You have done so much for your kids.  I just can't believe God is done with you down here yet!  I think you have lots more years of work to do here first.  Please keep us posted. Carmen, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having problems.  Just know that I will keep you in my thoughts.  Considering all the stress your body has been under for the last year (wls, losing the weight so rapidly, and then the ps, not to mention the gigantic move you just made) you can only be thankful that you are past all of that before this kicked in.  Now you can concentrate on doing whatever it takes to help your body recover from this.  If that includes maintenance meds, then at least they are available so you can live a longer, healthier life with your kids!
