Newbie here
Hi Jenny! Welcome! I was supposed to have to do a six months supervised diet and exercise regime, but my insurance approved surgery about 3 months into it. So I didn't complain about that! I was told to me sure to attend EVERY single appointment, don't miss for any reason, or you might have to start the six months over. Just thought I'd pass that on. I have Anthem too, as a state employee.

Welcome...so glad you're here...looking forward to following your journey...my journey began in march when i called to set an intial consult...I had that in april, psych eval in may...then even though my insurance didn't require it, my dr's office wanted medical records of my history of weight gain over the years, so i got all those records and got them sent in to them in early june....they sent into my insurace and i had my approval in about 14 days...now my date is aug 2nd...so hang in there...it will happen, even though I'm still waiting I know it's coming. welcome again! so nice to 'meet' you jen
Hi Neighbor!
I'm fairly new here also. I'm am from Muncie, but I now live in New Castle. I've lived here for 6 years now. My husband and I are both going for WLS. We have 5 more months of doctor supervised diet plan. Hoping for surgery at the end of the year. We have the M-plan suburban health. Make sure your doctor is going to meet with you during your 6 month nutritionist visits. My daughter-in-law just found out her not only needed a 6 month with a nutritionist but also the doctor had to record her improvements as well. My insurance only require doctor supervised diet and exercise plan for 6 months. At least that's what they tell me. It's nice to know someone else is going through all of this. Maybe we can help each other. Keep in touch.
