we found a lab...

my daughter found a chocolate lab - female- fixed- house broken - very smart-inside dog-and does not get on furnitur. we are trying to find her a good home. she is very playful fetches and everything. loves kids and minds very well. i just dont have room for her and neither does my daughter( she already has a black lab female and yes they get along great) if you know of anyone that would like to see her or know of anyone that wants her please let me know. we dont want her going to the pound she is to good a dog for that . vicki

Hi Vicki, Have you had her checked for an ID chip? It is obvious that someone has loved her and cared for her  before you found her. Hopefully they cared enough to have her chipped.  C

YES WE HAVE CHECKED AND THERE ISNT ONE I KNOW SOMEONE IS MISSING HER THEY HAVE TO BE. SHE IS A WONDERFUL DOG. BUT ITS BEEN ALMOST 3 WEEKS NOW AND NO ONE HAS REPLY TO OUR POSTERS . WE HAVE THEM ALL OVER TOWN. SHE WAS FOUND IN AN APPARTMENT COMPLEX WE HAVE EVEN GONE TO THE OFFICE AND POSTED ONE, STILL NOTHING. WE JUST CANT KEEP HER ANYMORE. MY DAUGHTER HAS A DOG AND SO DO WE  AND NEITHER REALLY HAVE THE ROOM FOR ANOTHER ONE.  VICKI

Vicki, I'll check with a guy at work Monday.  He just bought a house so he could get a dog and he wants a lab.  I'll take your description and see if he is interested.  No promises but I will check.  I'd hate the thought of it going to the pound too.  Have you called the pounds to see if anyone has called them inquiring if they found a lab?  Could be the owners moved and haven't seen the fliers.  Could be they moved and couldn't take her so they just left her hoping someone would take her in - but I don't want to think about it like that.
