SATURDAY

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE  NOT MUCH GOING ON THIS WEEKEND. DOING SOME YARD WORK AND LAUNDRY. MIGHT GO SWIM FOR BIT AND THEN GET MY NAILS DONE. ITS BEEN A LONG WEEK SO I JUST WANT TO TAKE IT EASY AND PAMPER ME.  WE FOUND A TRANSMITION FOR MY VAN AND IT SHOULD BE DONE NEXT WEEKEND. I CANT WAIT.   I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL, AND HAS A GOOD DAY. VICKI

Good morning all!

Let's see..got up at 4:15 to let Louie outside. Then back up at 7:10! Hmmm....Louie doesn't get the idea of 'weekend'! LOL! Normally, I don't tan on the weekend..I sleep in instead. So..I did. We went and got one of those stakes at Wal-Mart last night that you pound all the way into the ground. That seems to be working. Bill fixed it to where we don't have to go outside to link him onto the chain (helps when I'm on my way to the tanning bed!). We're trying teach Louie to sit at the door and wait to be hooked/unhooked. He's doing pretty good with it.

I'm going to go get Jay pretty soon. He's going to do some more yard work for me. After a full day of that, if we have the evergy, we may go to the Speedrome racetrack tonight (Kitley..on the east side). I'd love to see some figure-8's! LOL! Tmorrow...I'm going to be going into work for a few hours. Oh joy-joy! LOL!

I am going to do some yard work and get something actually done around here today, then I am going to make a fruit salad for jaydens 5th birthday party tomorrow.. seems odd I am a grandma of a f year old, 3, 3year olds and a 7 month old.. I have been so sick lately and when I get the good drugs on Monday and Dr Cacucci scopes me and finds out what my problem is... Maybe I will be on the road to recovery.. Be well all and have a great weekend ,.. low humidity always works for me.. Linda Kay

Good morning everyone, just got my lazy butt out of bed and my son and husband off to blue spring cavarans with the cub scouts.  Tonight I have to go back to work after "being sick" lastnight.  We bought the new Nintendo Wii lastnight and played it for a while.  I love the bowling game.  Next weekend we are going to be in Indianapolis for the weekend at my aunts house.  We are going to go watch the truck races Friday night and my husband is going to the qualifications at the track Saturday, but I don't know if I want to fight with that crowd Saturday or not.  I hope everyone has a great weekend. 

Morning everyone,   Yesturday I spent 9 hrs. at the "WALL" the Vietnam War memorial replica of the one in DC. It is in Colfax- a small community about 30 miles due North of Indy.It will be there today and tomorrow, if anyone is interested in going. ( take 65N. to 52N.- continue to the Colfax exit -about 15mi. and follow the signs). It was a humbling, moving, memory making experience for me. I did meet one of my brothers platoon Sgts. I did 3 etchings of the  "boys" my brother served with, shed tears,passed ou****er, kleenex,,and gave locations to people who needed to know where to look on the wall. For me, it was a true privilage and honor. My brother recieved 2 purple hearts  while serving there. I am so proud of my family,& the men/ women who serve or have served in defending our country and protecting our freedom.  Today, I am going to get a few loads of laundry done, go over again to serve for a few hrs. at the wall,then go shopping for groceries & a wedding gift.BUSY,BUSY!!  Have a great day, (((hugs))) Ellen

Sherri, Dave and I are thinking of going to the speedrome also.  Maybe we will see you there.  We also sit on the back side about middle of the track at the top.   We get perfect view of eight track crossings. Pauletta

Pauletta, We usually sit in the 'reserve seating' area..in the first section..I think that is 'F'. It gives the perfect view of the cross-over too..I guess we're probably right accross from you guys..lol. Are you guys going to the 3 hour too? Bill has gotten ticlets for it for about 15 yrs or so.
