Shhhhhhh.......
I'm not suppose to tell 'anyone' (per Bill..my dh) but...
Last Saturday when we were RV shopping, we found one we fell in love with. It's a 35' A class with a slider. We decided to go for it and got it! We pick it up Thursday (and bring the Jay****lass to them). The interior is decorated in blue..and guess what both of our favortie color is?!? I think I have more cabinet space in there than I do at home!!! We're really excited about it..but boy are we going to have to rush to get it all ready to leave Saturday! I'll take lots of pics and put them on PictureTrails so you all can see her. We have the Jayco all emptied out and ready to go!
Now remember...shhhhhh......

Can't wait to see the new rig!
Well, I got son #3 moved to the Boston area for college, and moved son #1 home (he graduated from Culinary, said he was gonna cook for me before he leaves for China). That was an EXAUSTING 3 days, every time I closed my eyes I saw white lines and head lights! Left Thursday for NY (Hyde Park), 13 hr drive later we're there - Peter drove. Friday was the graduation, so we relaxed a bit. Saturday it was a 5 hr drive to Boston to drop #3 off (Peter and son #2 head home to Indiana, so I'm driving), empty trailer, hugs and kisses, turn around an go back to NY (another 5hrs). Sunday go to #1's apartment and pack up trailer, left later than I wanted to, got stuck for 1hr around Buffalo (RV rolled over, traffic backed up for 12 miles), got to seeing 3 cars where there was one (it was pouring out too) and decided to stop around 11:30pm.
Finallly pulled in Monday around 11am, so pooped I was cross-eyed, empty trailer right away so I can return it before they charge me for another day Got right back into work, cuz Peter was getting sick (he thinks it was food poisening), worked till 9, felt like I was falling asleep, really glad all I had to do was drive the golf cart to the house!
Fell into bed, around 10:30pm!
This morning I had to take our foreign exchange student to the school and pick her classes, and go grocery shopping. Had to cut the shopping short, Peter couldn't function anymore, and Jenna (staff) was alone at the store. Poor Pete has been in bed all day, drinking Gatorade, and getting to know the potty
. He promised me if he's still sick tomorrow he will go to Dr, I told him I got it under control!
Got to admit, I'm looking forward to October!
So goes the saga of my life, stay tuned for info on son #2's move to college! It's only to Detroit, so I think I got it under control!
Hope

!!!Ellen, I'll be surprised if Bill doesn't want to do a quickie weekender trip in September..near you guys! LOL! I don't him I could ask how big your yard was! HAHAHA!! Bill even told me last night that he thinks he's more excited over this one than he was the Jayco . Yes! There are lots of plugs in the new one!! The only question will be is which one to put it in! Bill suggested the bathroom so we'd have a little nite light in there. Some features that I think Dana will love... When you press the button for the slide out, a female voice reminds you to be sure you have everything out of the way. Oh...and there is an awning over it. When you open the door, the stairs automatically come down..and if you turn off that feature and go to leave with the stairs down, it will automatically bring them up! For the hydraulic leveling system, I push one button for 'on' then I push two more..one for front jacks, one for rear ones. Then it atomatically lowers the jacks...and levels itself! How cool is that?? We are now rethinking that trip to Vegas in 2009.....now that we have a baby that could handle the trip! Our Jayco was a 27' but that was including the truck part so actual 'living' area was probably closer to 22'. With this one, practically all 35' is living space since the driver & passenger seats rotate all the way around to face the livingroom. Plus, there's a 3rd chair, a full-size hide-a-bed couch, a table (that is NOT mounted on the wall! and 4 individual kitchen chairs. The TV is built in above & between the driver & passenger seats (a 2nd one built-in in the bedroom). Oh...I can't wait to pick her up tomorrow!!! Sherri
