This is my first time on the IN board

Hi everyone. This is my first time on the Indiana board. I go to the doctor tomorrow afternoon and I am hoping that I get my surgery date then. I have had all of the pre testing done and I am going to my last class this Thursday. I am really looking forward to this but there is some aprehension too. I have a high threshold of pain but I have never had a staple or stitch and since I am having an open RNY I am going to not be able to say that soon. I know that everything is going to be fine but you know the unknown is kind of scary! I hope to be gitting to know all of you soon.

So glad you found us here! We are a fun group to chat with, and you will learn alot.......I know I have. Good luck with your dr. tomorrow. It is a hard thing to hurdle, but with all of the support you find in the boards, you will make it in no time at all!
