Hello ALL & hope to see ya at the exchange!

Hi EVERYONE, It has been a while and I am sorrry! I have had some issues with the computer, as well as some issues with myself and have finally been able to come online! I hope that everyone is well/better! I also hope that everyone is continuing to enjoy whatever stage of their journies that they are all in! Newbies, congrats,and welcome- future post-op's, congrats also, you are on your way to a new you! To all my fellow post -op family, I have been thinking ALOT about several of you and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers! I hope to see many of you Saturday at the Exchange! I have been trying to play catch up on the boards, I have missed ALOT! Who is coming to the exchange? Whatcha  bringin'- besides clothes! Maybe we can help some of the lurkers decide to come and meet us!!! Tell us, are ya coming? You may be the inspiration that someone else is looking for, or to meet! Well, I have ALOT to get accomplished, my break from school/work is almost over! Hope to see as many as possible on Saturday. Hope everyone has safe travels to and from the exchange, also! I have made my NYR and that is to stay focused on my jourey as well as my being, that hasn't been happening to well as of late! Hopefully I can recover from my setbacks and be here more often as well- I really do miss everyone and hope to be better soon, and enjoying my journey along with ALL of you as well! Sherri- I have missed so much, I hope that you are on your way back to being all better ! I am sorry that I haven't been around for you as I should have! I am a work in progress, and I am planning on working on myself and my friendships as well- you are a BIG part of that! In time I hope that you can understand!  Lisa- I am so sorry to hear of your housefire! I have just been through that and recently returned home! Becky and I are going to try our best to be there.  I have a Men's breakfast earlier and hope to be done by 10 AM and head across town for the exchange.  May be there after 11AM. Still making up my mind what to bring besides clothes.  I have a Cashew butter sauce that you use with grilled turkey strips that is  good  or Whole grain pasta and ground turkey.  Not sure which to try and bring. Either is good E

Hi Dawn, Glad to see you posting again.  I know with the Holidays, it has been hectic.  I haven't been on the boards much lately either.  (Been traveling and sick!)  But, I'm looking forward to the exchange.  It kind of snuck up on me.  Not sure what I'm bringing yet, we need to go to the store. Cindy, Can't wait to see ya again! Are the kids coming? Hope you are feeling better now! I have been way down for a while and am working on getting things back to a better life for me! Hi Dawn, Yes, I think the kids will be coming.  Let me know if you are bringing Markie.  I'm sure Brian would love to talk to him again (and he always loves the food!).  My husband may even come.  I'm thinking of bringing cake puffs (I got one of those pans you see on TV for my birthday last summer).  They aren't sugar free, but they are low sugar, high protein & fiber.  My family loves them.  Don't know if I'll be brining anything savory or not.  We still haven't been to the store yet and I don't know what my cabinets will have in them yet (hubby does the shopping).  I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.

Welcome back Dawn.  It was good talking to you the other day. Floyd and I will be there.  We don't have many clothes to bring but I'll be looking forward to going through those 14's Jo.  If anyone has a ****tail dress I might be able to wear, even just to borrow, I've been looking for one to take on my cruise. I am bringing my infamous Fluffy Fruit Whip and Sherri's Robert Redford Salad (it's really a dessert).  Floyd has been wanting some and it just makes too much for just the 2 of us.  This way he can satisfy his craving for it and there will be plenty to share with everyone else too.  Sherri told me I could bring it! I have a couple of ****tail dresses that you can borrow. One is short and the other long. I will bring them to the exchange on Saturday if you like.

It was nice talking with ya also! Sorry it took me a minute to grasp who I was talking with as my step-mom is Brenda too and I was still asleep, although it was ok, I needed to talk for a bit! I have really been a bad person and not been doing as advised with meds and boy have I been paying the price emotionally! Unfortunately this has affected a lot of others as well, both family and friends! I only have myself to blame though and have a lot to catch up on! I am working on it though and hopefully I can make amends with myself as well as others! Hugz Dawn
