WELL GOOD MORNING ALL I AM SO GLAD ITS THE WEEKEND, WORK HAS BEEN KILER THIS WEEK. I AM UP AND GOING THIS MORNING GETTING CLOTHES READY FOR THE EXCHANGE. CANT WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE , JIM AND MY DAUGHTER ARE GOING TO BE WITH ME AND JESSYCA TOO. I HAVE A BUNCH TO BRING THIS TIME ALL DIFFERENT SIZES. I AM GOING OT BRING 2 CASES OF WATER I HOPE THAT WILL BE ENOUGH. WELL I NEED TO GET IN THE SHOWER , I HAVE TO GO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER AND BE BACK HERE IN TIME TO MEET JESSYCA , AND SO JIM CAN LOAD STUFF FOR ME.  SEE YA ALL LATER VICKI

Good morning all! Just sitting here at work, I am working a 12 hr. shift today.  I really wish I could come to the exchange today, because I am needing to get some smaller   sizes  I refuse to go buy new clothes because I dont want to waste the money when I wont be able to wear them in a month or so.  I guess I will go to Goodwill and see if I can find some things.  I do have some clothes that I am saving back for the next exchange.  My cousin that had this done back in March brought me 6 totes of clothes that she outgrew, but most of them were too big for me.  I keep telling her to join our family so she can come to the exchanges and get rid of her clothes.  She lives in Brownsburg.  She is pretty much at goal, and just found out she is pregnant.  I will keep working on her because she has lots of nice clothes.   I have gotten 3 questions from Elfster from people, I havent gotten my person's name yet, are these people just asking random people questions or do they know who they have?  I am kind of confused. Good morning all.  I have been up for a little while. Everyone else is snoozing still.  This evening the girls are having a slumber party with 2 of their friends.  Normally we only have 1 little girl, Mariah's friend, stay with us because both of her parents are working.  There usually is someone always upset, because someone is getting left out.  This time I decided to have Molly invite one of her friends over as well, just to even things up.  That will make it so much easier for all of the girls.  2 in each room, and less arguing and fighting!  I am just glad that I feel up to it. I so wish I could have been at the exchange today.  I am DEFINATLY coming to the one in April, even if it KILLS me or someone else! LOL I hope everyone has a wonderful day today. I have only been asked one question from Elfster.  I did notice that you can ask questions anonomusly on there tho, so maybe someone is just randomly asking questions now.  Who knows! LOL  It is going to be fun either way, as long as everyone actually participates.  I asked a question about how to go about getting the gift or card to that person without them actually finding out who you are........any ideas?

Good morning everyone! Well...a few short hours and it will be FUN time!! That's what I consider any time that I get to spend with my OH buddies! I'm going to miss those who are sick..but I do want to thank you for being considerate of others by not coming. I have been fighting so hard to stay as healthy as I can for the 21st! All that cold/flu/sinus infection/respirtory infection/ear infection crap went through Tiffany's household and I was like 'I love you honey, but stay away'. lol. I have a few final touches to do on my 'creations'. I haven't printed off any recipes...I got the 'sweet' idea's from Splenda.com though. And the beans? Anyone can do beans..lol. Well..instead of doing them with ham, I did them with turkey meat and chicken gizzards (that after pressure cooking them are so tender that they melt in your mouth!!). Elfster should be letting us know who we have tomorrow via email. You can ask any question you want to anyone you want..before or after the drawing. I think I've been asked 4-5. They have some common ones that are asked, or you can ask your own. All of the ones I've been asked were the common ones except one. It was alot of fun answering them!  LaChelle, I know it's going to be hard to keep your identity a secret if you're the only one who lives in a particular town (..and the reciever is curious enough to check the postal stamping...lol). It's pretty easy for those of us that alot of OH'ers live in the same city...like Indy... to remain secret. There is no perfect way around it because I'm quite sure you don't want to have to drive miles just to send your package from a different town. You'd be surprised though how many of us doesn't check the postal markings for the sake of keeping it in the spirit of the exchange. Let's just hope you get someone like that. I had an ecard & a Yahoo email set up for secret angels/pals to be able to send a card or email to their person and their identity remain a secret. I'll send out that information within the next few days to those who are signed up on Elfster. Hey..I found out yesterday that Lilly's has it down now for me to return to work on Feb. 11th. They got that date from Dr. Gupta's office (Megan). That is only 3 weeks after I have my surgery. After all I've been through, that just doesn't seem like much recoup time. I sure hope Megan is right and I'll feel like going back that quick. I really don't want to have to go through this extension stuff AGAIN (it'd be the 3rd or 4th time..and at $25 each time so Megan will fill out the ONE page of forms). I would love to be able to get back to work though and back into the swing of things! Almost 5 months off is TOO much!  See you all in a few! Sherri

Good Morning All, I am envious of you all today being able to attend the clothing exchange.  6 hour round trip drive is just to much time out of my weekend with my 2nd and 3rd jobs that I do.  Hopefully one day I will be able to attend so I can personally meet you all.  I am going to have to do something with my closet very soon.  It is packed.  I need to weed out the "under" grown clothes.   There are a couple of consignment shops here in town so I may take some things to them.  That would help with the cost of new sizes as well.  I just bought a size 12 dress pants last evening.  I had bought size 14 in the pants earlier in the week to go with a jacket I got for Christmas and didn't try the pants on at the time.  When I took them back to exchange them last night, inside I felt like the clerk would be saying, "Yeah right, you need a smaller size" when she looked at me.  I still don't have my mind wrapped around my new size.   When I fold my jeans I think these can't be mine - how can I fit into those.  Maybe my mind will eventually catch up to my body.  Well, you all have a great time today and don't forget to post any yummy recipes you enjoy.  Looking forward to hearing about the good time you have even if it makes me jealous.  HaHa! Well good morning all.  I had one of my "I cant sleep nights" so I over slept this morning after I finally fell asleep.  So Here I just woke up and its 10:15 since it takes me at the least an hour to get there not to mention my shower, and getting my 4 yo ready to I guess I'm not gonna be there today. It would be after 12 when I finally got there.  That really sucks to cuz I needed some clothes and had lots of clothes to bring too.  My chicken stuff over cooked in the crock pot thanks to me over sleeping.  I guess its gonna be one of those days for me.  My eyes are all puffy and I have a headache from hell.   Well sorry guys, I was really looking forward to actually getting to met all of you today.  Hope everybody has a great time !!!!

Another one of those "days"~I am sooo glad I decided not to come- got up this am. and feel like it has started all over again-grrrr!! I am so sick of being sick!!!! I hope someone took photos so atleast I can "see" everyone! I will definately try my best to be at the next one. I hope everyone has a great time!!! Sherri- I HOPE we can get together in the next 2 weeks- after we clear up this cold/flu crud, and spend alittle "us" time! I can hardly wait for you to get the next surgery over with- yee-haw!! You will feel  100% better soon! I finally got my paycheck ( little as it is) and want to get out and find a new winter coat- like shopping is going to happen anytime soon-not. Another grrrr moment. Just hope all of the good ones/bargians aren't gone by the time I feel up to it.  Gotta rest my head, so talk to you all soon. (((hugs))) Ellen
