Wednesday!

Hi all.  I'm getting a late start today.  The cat woke me up at 3:00 am and I got such a headache that when I was finally able to lay back down about 7:00 I just called work and told them I'd get here when I could.  I finally made it about noon.  I've been having a lot of headaches lately (really very rare for me) so my doctor and I agreed that I should go back on a low dose of my BP med.  Although it was disappointing, she pointed out that she had "skinny" patients who had never had a weight problem that had high blood pressure.  So I figured it was better to take a pill and be healthier than to avoid it just out of stubborness.  I don't have a lot going on today, but my husband says I can't have a Saturday without a dozen things planned!   He's right of course.  This Saturday, my husband, myself and a friend from work are sharing a booth at the craft fair at Perry Meridian Middle School.  Then my sister and I are bringing my mother to the OH dinner (Richard & the kids are meeting us there too) and from there Nancy, mother & I are going to a concert at the Indpls Symphony Orchestra for mother's birthday (it was in December, but the concert she wanted to see wasn't until this weekend).  I have a really bad habit of over booking my weekends, but it seems like the only time I have to fit in all the things I want to do!  Week nights are tough, between working out, getting dinner & making sure the kids do their homework.  Not to mention the fact that I work full time.  So, busy weekends it is!  I'd rather be busy than bored, that's for sure. Hope everyone is doing well on this snowy cold Wednesday.  I think Wednesdays are my favorite day right now, because each one is another week closer to my RNY! Five weeks from today...getting very excited! Two weeks til my NUT class and physical.

Biggest news here is well, nothing really.  Hubby's enjoying the new job, we got our COBRA information on Monday...holy moley that is going to be SPENDY.  Thankfully we only need it til May 1, but geezowie....not going to think about it right now.  Kids are doing well...I have my first parent teacher conference tomorrow for my oldest's preschool class, and I think kindergarten registration is coming right up, plus preschool  registration coming up for my younger one for this fall.  Em's 5, Molly's almost 4. 

that's so funny. tuesdays are my favorite days too! i'm now 27 days away from my surgery! woohoo! now if i could just catch up at work and take care of my family drama at the same time that would be great. otherwise, i have no news. grandma had another heart attack on tuesday morning. it's just a matter of days until she passes. i'm dealing with it a lot better. the hard part is being around my dad. he's not taking it very well at all. we don't get along, but i decided to be the good daughter and be supportive. depending upon how things go, i might get to make it down to indy for dinner on saturday. i'd really like to meet you all and get a break to just be cheery for a while.
