I have a question. I would like to attend the exchange saturday but being pre-op I have no clothes to bring with me. Everything I own is something that fits me I don't have anything that is to big or to small. Would it still be ok to come and see if I could find some dress clothes for church?

That would definately be alright. Not everyone does or can bring clothing, many examples, yours included. Please feel free to still come and socialize and meet your fellow Ohers. There will be a time when you are on your journey that you will be donating plenty of clothing! Hugz Dawn Hope to see ya on Saturday!

Kelly, As Dawn said, you are more than welcome..but..we do usually give those who are post-op a 10-15 minute head start at looking through the clothes. Often, we have people coming who are not looking into having the surgery at all and so will not be contributing now or in the future. Many times, these are daughters/sisters/friends, etc of board members..and they are also welcome to attend..but it's not fair for them to scoff up all the size 12's & 14's when there are post-op board members who need those clothing. So..we did come up with the 'head start' for post-ops to make it more fair. After 15 minutes though, the post-op should have plenty of time to get started. it'll be nice to meet you & put a face to the avatar! Sherri

How far are you from Seymour?  I am swinging by that way to pick up Misty.......if you aren't too far from there, you are more than welcome to drive there and meet up with us, and then I will be glad to drive us on to Indy.  I love to drive, and the bigger the better when it comes to city driving! LOL  Just let me know if you are interested, or if it is close enough for you!

There are usually alot in size 26's and the 3 and 4 x's... the sizes they seem to need most are 18's down to 12's... Hint when I first started I went to good will and picked up a couple things in the sizes they need most and felt no problem about joining in.. Honestly... no one will be looking in those sizes until you have a chance.. I have a size 26 bathing suit I am bringing... FINALLY decided I wouldn't be needing it anymore...I don't know what sizes you need but would be glad to look see if I can find anything for you... I still have some of my preop clothes.. (Scared I would go back up right away) thank GOD I am maintaining.. Linda Kay
