Dinner: Saturday, April 19th!

Well..barring any last minute calls from a doc to the contrary, I'll be going back to work next Monday (the 21st). It's been a long, scary, 7 months! I can't think of who I'd rather celebrate it drawing to a close with than my dear friends! So...I hope you can join Bill & I! Please let me know if you plan to..and how many. I plan on giving the restaurant a heads-up on Thursday so that  their pastry chef will have enough of a notice to get those sugar-free pies done. Hi, We had a great time Sunday- Dana said his eardrums are now settling down form the screams behind us- next time we'll be sure to bring him earplugs!  Sorry, but we won't be able to come- our friends surprise 60th is that night, & I am helping with it. Wish I could make it, but mom is having my baby shower Saturday.  I hope all goes well for you going back to work.  I would be ready to retire after having 7 months off.  I am going to be ready to retire after having 2 months off.  Saturday is the baby shower and then May 2 little Megan will be here.  That is less than 2 weeks from the baby shower.  We are working kind of slow on this one.  With Austin the baby shower was 2 months before he was here and we had everything bought and ready.  This time all we have in the way of the little stuff is clothes and a bag of diapers and a diaper bag.  Guess I better get things done because there is not much time.  Good luck with going back to work.

Trust me, if they offered it to me and I would get enough to pay my credit cards, I would take early retirement in a heartbeat! It helps that Bill & I know what we want to do when I can retire too. We won't be sitting here in Indiana! you'd find us at a campground somewhere in the south-west!    I hope you have a really good turn-out for the shower Saturday! Sherri

Hi Sherri, I will definitely be there.  I may have the kids with me too, but Richard has to wor****il 7:00 pm and wouldn't be able to get there until 8:00, so I'll probably just order him a dinner to go and take it home to him.  He'll be sorry he has to miss it though, because he really liked that place the last time we were there and he's just beginning to get to know my OH friends.  Looking forward to it!

I wish I could dear but I have to be up there on the 18th for a dentist appointment at the dental school and Monday is my 9 month post op appointment a lil early and Tuesday is my liver biopsy at IU soo we're going to be way busy and can't afford to add another trip into it. I hope you enjoy your meal and your first day back to work isn't toooooo tiring.
