Super Saturday

Just thought I would start todays thread, since I am sure most everyone else is enjoying their weekend.  I have to work, go figure! LOL not much going on otherwise. Hope everyone has a great day! I am going to try to!  Enjoy the dinner this evening. Unfortunatly I have to miss this one as well.  Eat a bite for me! TTYL

Good morning everyone!! So far, there's gonna be ~13 of us for dinner tonight (4 are friends of Bill's). I'm going to call lincoln Square ~noon or so with a headcount. If you'd like to join us, drop me an e-mail, call me, or something..k? Kids are welcome. Cindy will be bringing her two..they are usually pretty good at keeping other kids their ages company. Scroll down to my This &That post for more info. Hope is going to try to come and needed the address for her GPS...so for those of you with a Tom-Tom (that's which one we have..lol), the address is 7803 E. 21st Street...Indianapolis.                                                                                   Hope also asked me if I could try to find out how many people are interested in going to this year's camp-out. It will be August 8/9 in Middlebury at the KOA she & Peter own. They are giving all OH people a 10% discount. I am NOT asking for a commitment at this time. Saying 'yes' is NOT the same as reserving you a spot..ok? NO money is required at this time. Hope is just wanting to get a ballpark idea. So...let me know if you are interested in going and what kind of camp site you would need (rv site, tent, cabin, lodge-type cabin). Last year, many of us arrived on Friday afternoon. On SAturday morning, we went into town for the Middlebury festival. Some of also drove  to the next town, Shipshiwana, and did some shopping (I love the cheeses there!). That evening, we had a pitch-in dinner, made sf sh'more's and just had a really good time visitng around the campfire (so bring your lawn chairs). Ellen's hubby Dana took care of the fire for us and even entertained us by putting some of those things on it that makes it have different color flames! Anyway..lots of fun. Let me know if you'd like to join us this year.                                                                             I also talked with Jodi yesterday. She asked me to pass it on to everyone how much she appreciates all everyone has donw & sent. She was especially touched by the thoughtfullness toward Gage. You know the way to a woman's heart is through her kids. Gage has made good use of the gift certificates..and the BK one's were specifically listed as a huge hit for him...lol. While talking, Jodi also gave me a lead for a job for my daughter...full time and something she has experience at! Tiff's going to go check into it this morning..so keep her in your thoughts & prayers today...k? Robin..after Tiff gets done there, she & Rod will be heading your way. Misty..I also forwarded all the dental info to her. I told Tiff that she & Shellie (my step-daughter) both should join OH. Neither are interested in having WLS...couldn't afford it if they were and no insurance to cover it either..but as I have said many times, having WLS is NOT a requirement of OH...just being obese..or loving someone who is. I think they'd both get alot out of being on here.                                          Well..everyone have a good day! Let me know about tonight if you plan on coming. I talked to my sister last night and not only did she say she would be needing a full time employee to replace the one that will eventually be leaving but she got permission to hire an somewhat assistant for herself. Responsibilities would be similiar to what Sarah is currently doing: training CSR's, training store managers on new procedures, a lot of filling in, and maybe a few store audits. So she was very happy when I said I was sending Tiff and TIff had experience because she's rarely had a day off in months now. Evenutally the job would lead to Tiff running her own store.

Ellen and Ulisha,

You two are heros. Thank you so much for the cleaning you guys did yesterday. And I think my dogs fell in love with you Ulisha after that great walk, hahaha! Everyone loved the cassorole and half the brownies were gone by 3:30 when the boys got home.

Everyone Else,

Thanks so much for everything you all have done to make me feel special and supported. GOD may have gave me a battle but HE gave me great company for along the way. I was telling and showing Ulisha and Ellen every card and note I've had sent my way. I expressed to them how grateful I am because I truely am. I have being allowing myself to finally cry over all this. After I cry I come out and look at all the cards, gifts, message or whatever all of you have sent and it brings the biggest smile to my heart and soul. You all are truely a blessing. Someday I will be lucky enough to be able to pay it forward to someone else I'm sure.

And just a lil reminder. If you are younger age, have young daughters or granddaughters - please incourage them to inquire about Gardisal. This shot will prevent 70% of cancer causing HPV agents. HPV cancer causing agents cause cervical and uterine cancer. You can get HPV from a dirty toliet seat and simpler. IT is NOT just a STD. HPV is really easy to get. I wish I had had the opportunity to recieve the Gardisal shot and protect myself. I got HPV  and that's what lead to my cervical and uterine cancer. I wish what I've gone through in the last few months on anyone, espically someone young. So please....


Today I'm just resting. I forgot to do that yesterday. I'm paying for it today.

hi Everyone,   Finally getting on here, after getting up early, getting the laundry caught up & scrubbing the bathroom floor- yuck! I think my hairspray is just going on the floor, NOT on my hair- sure seems that way!  Jodi~I am so glad I am able to help out. I had a great time- and lil Mr. Quinn won my heart over with his first smile! I was surprised at how big he is, compared to my grandbabies- but then I remembered they were preemies. He has such a sweet nature and is such a cutie- you can't help but love on him!!!! It was so good to spend time with you Jodi, and your Mom. I am glad she got away for lunch with her friends, just wish you could have gotten a nap in,too! Too much gabbing huh??It was just so good to catch up, and spend  time together -the time flew!! Glad you liked the casserole, it's one of my families favs. Let me know when you need me! oh, I so agree- I am glad they have found a prevention for people to have now. if only it had been available for you, but you are such a strong "Warrior Woman", and can help the future young women to know what they can face if they don't. Love ya!!  Sherri, before you know it, you'll be back in the groove at work- just don't push yourself those first few days,'k? Sorry we can't be there, but our dear friends 60th "surprise' birthday party is tonight, and we can't miss it!! They are the folks we vacation/travel with,and are going to Hawaii next yr. with.  Also, thanks for being there for me yesturday. I was so p!$$@) when I left the store, that the fast-food joint right across form it was screaming my name!  Being told to go to Lane Bryants brought up so much old garbage, feelings I have had in the past, and the "stinking thinking" was screaming in my head. Thankfully, I flet better after we talked, and now I may just go check out thier undergarments after all. I had the same experience at Victoria Secrets. You'd think that after losing 120#  I'd fit into those sizes, but all this extra flesh is keeping me from it. That stinks, but it is what it is, so I am moving forward.NOT going to let those thoughts get me down!  Hope you all have a great weekend, and sending you all ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))Ellen
