You don't have to tell me twice to go shoppping. My mom and I are going  Goodwill hunting today. LOL I think I made a boo boo. Preop I am used to downing 3 or 4 pills at a time. Well I just took 2 tylenol and without even thinking I downed both of them at the same time. Am I in a world of hurt? Tylenol Capsules. I am afraid...So many things to remeber. Last night I had my first real food In almost a week! OMG It was to Die for! Tomato soup from Meijer select or something It was Tomato Parmesean Basil and was creamy and delicious and OOhh soo Good. I blended in my magic bullet just to make sure all the lumps were out and after 3 ounces I was stuffed to the gills. I had ate too much. Too fast. But I was ok. I didn't get sick. It was delicious. DId I say that. I will have again for lunch today. Thats it have a great day.  Shanna

Good morning all!  Welcome to the bench, Shanna.  It is an amazing feeling, isn't it.   Not much going on today, other than work.  I will be so glad when I can have my Sundays off again! I miss them....... Exciting news here in the hills and at work!!! Our new employee gym opens up today!!! I can't wait!! I am so ready to start my real workout.  Walking at work is great, and I do get in quite a few steps in during my breaks, but to be able to use the equipment that I so desparately need will be awesome!   I need to update my ticker, since I weighed yesterday finally.  I have lost another 5 pounds!  Down a total of 107!!!  That is so great!  I don't even think about weighing......I just never have been one to do that.  Heck, I didn't even own a set of scales until after my surgery.  Oh well. Time to hop in the shower and get ready for work. Have a wonderful day all!  Enjoy it!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Shanna: Be careful!  I went out to get groceries on the Saturday after Monday surgery and almost passed out at the store.  I was feeling great going in, but halfway into the store -- 20 minutes? -- I hurt so bad my head was spinning and I was EXHAUSTED!   Be careful!  It has been a busy week for me.  My son who moved from Lebanon to Glendale AZ 21 months ago and left a house for sale, FINALLY sold his house (actually I sold the house For Sale by Owner!).  We close on Friday 4/25.  So had a sale Friday evening and Saturday which was successful.  Then Saturday night went to a "mystery" dinner.  It was so fun!  We ordered according to a cryptic song.  They brought out the food in 3 oz cups.   They were 50's songs.  Hilarious!! Today have church then at 5:00 10-15 people coming over for a cookout.  I am a gluten for punishment!  I'm exhausted.  And tomorrow night I have to go over to my son's house and finish packing the house up so we can move it all to our house on Tuesday and Wednesday night both after working 10 hour days!!!!!  Whew! But in all of this stress, I think about WLS.  I would NEVER been able to complete all of that without having lost the 115#s I've lost.  NEVER.  I am so glad I had WLS! You all,  have a great Sunday and a beautiful week! Blessings,

Good morning everyone!                     I really enjoyed dinner last night. Thank you to all who came. Gail..thank you so much for my goodie bag! I thought it was hilarious how Bill's friend Fred had to smell all the purties! LOL! Tiffany had wanted to come but was unable to so she's coming over today so we can take her out for lunch. Kinda as a 'thank you'. That kid sure has done alot for me & Bill in the past 7 months so this is a celebration for her as much as it is for us for it to all be behind us as much as possible. Since the plastics in September, I have lost 31 lbs (was expected to lose ~15) and 21.5" (stomach is still swollen though..so not final lost yet) for a total of 210 lbs LOST and 134 inches LOST since my RNY! Woo-hoo! I use to have an inverted hourglass shape...55-62-57..Now, even though the girls need help & my tummy is still swollen, the hourglass is FINALLY shaped correctly with my waist being smaller than the other two numbers!!                                                                 Shanna...I felt like doing stuff when I came home too..for about 2 weeks. And then I crashed! I had no energy what-so-ever. That got better after a few weeks too. Just don't over-do it..and let someone else do your heavy lifting. I know...words for me to live by right now too..lol! It's alot easier to eat more of soup than you can of something with more substance. After I could start introducing protein to my pouch, I'd be able to eat 3 oz of mashed potatoes & soup (I'd put the soup on the potatoes like it was gravy...cream of mushroom was really good like this)..but I'd be lucky to get in 1-2 oz of meat. Congrats on being a loser! I just know you are going to do terrific!                    Tomorrow is the big day! Honestly, I don't know how I feel about it. I got pretty use to being home with Bill..you know? I'm dreading the lack of energy...the still having some pain..the still having diarrhea...shoot... having to get up early! But then again, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back in the swing of things...even if all I'll be doing for awhile will be all at my desk. I have to get my mind thinking analytically again instead of medically. I have to start DOING reports intead of teaching Tiffany how to use the programs you do reports in. One thing for sure, tomorrow, I will be exhausted! It's a good thing there isn't much on TV on Mondays anyway! LOL! Gail...if my eyes need a break from staring at the pc monitor or my brain needs a break from dealing with IT (to get all my passwords reset), I'll give you a ring! I won't be able to do our usualy marathon talks, but I think a few minutes will be a nice break in the day! LOL!  I'll let you all know how it goes Tuesday morning.                                  I hope you all enjoy the rest of today...even if you have to work like LaChelle!                 Sherri

Shanna.. You might want to invest in some Tylenol Tablets/caplets. Capsules just don't dissolve in me so I get no use of them at all. Sherri

Good afternoon everyone! I'm very exhausted, the past few days have been sooo terribly busy. I'm pretty sore today because my tube migrated a bit yesterday and I pulled it back out and so far it's staying put some other than going in and out. The good news is this thing should be coming out tomorrow!! I'm sooooo stinking excited about it seriously. I won't be able to update on my 9 month appointment (a lil early) til Tuesday evening or Wednesday because I have my liver biopsy at 7 am on Tuesday morning at IU so we're probally going to try and find an inexpensive motel to sleep at instead of running back and forth. To say I'm nervous about it is very very much an understatement but I KNOW that GOD is in control and that things are going to be just fine. Shanna - Welcome welcome to the loser bench girl. I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you. I tried to call once but it just rang and so I assumed you were resting or something. Sherri - Good luck tomorrow!!! I can't wait to hear how your first day back to work went. :) LaChelle - That is tooo cool about the employee gym opening. I remember us talking bout it a couple weeks ago and how excited you were. YAY Well I think thats it for now. I'll talk to you all later.
