how long was it after you got your approval...

letter that you got your surgery date?
I received my verbal confirmation two weeks ago tomorrow. then i got the paperwork in the mail that following friday. and i havent heard anything about a surgery date. i did call Dr. Inman's office and talked to the surgery co-ordinator however she said she needed the written confirmation letter, which i received 1 day later.

any help girls and guys??

I faxed a copy of my approval letter to Dr. Evanson's office immediately.  They called me to schedule about 2 weeks later - give or take. Be patient...the hard part is over.

I am in a similar boat ( just a closer time frame) I got my verbal approval last Thursday, then received the letters on Saturday and today I faxed a copy just to be sure off to my dr. office.  I will let you know how soon I hear from them! UPDATE: They tell me it will be two weeks before they call me to schedule.  I feel your pain.  I am going to wait till tomorrow (4/23) and start the same follow up routine that I did with my insurance company) Good Luck!

 

 

Ok, I am using Dr. Inman....it took them 3 1/2 to 4 weeks after I faxed my approval letter to actually call and give me my surgery date which the call was last week. My surgery date is July 15, 2008. Hope this helps.

I faxed my approval letter, and less than two weeks later I got a call from Dr. Jones office.  They set my surgery up for May 2nd, (arournd two weeks later).  I can't believe it was that fast!

i was hoping to look at the middle of july.. you see my rush is my husband is having his right hip replaced on august 5th... so i need to have it done before then!!!

I faxed off the approval letter to Vicki in Scheduling last night i hope that moves everything along quicker.. thanks for the information!
