Good Monday morning all. I hope that this beginning of our week day is good to all. I have had such a busy week end. I haven 't posted all week end because it was sooo busy I never got time. Today is a doctor day. Have to go to my PCP. Ick!! It is a monthly thing. Nothing great just a pain in my behind.  I have to finish my fundraiser today for the church. I did a Dutch Mill Bulb fundraiser and I have to make the order today. I did very good with it. We sold over $700. and we get over 50% of the profit and so it was very profitable. I am so glad. It sure wasn't that hard either so that was another plus. I have had people tell me that they would like to for it to be a yearly thing. So we will see.  Well, Sherri, today is the big day to return to work. I hope that things go well with you. It has been a long haul and I am keeping you in special prayers today.  I better get going. I hope that everyones day is blessed and wonderful. I will chat later on. Love and hugs to all.

Good morning all.  I felt the earth move again this morning.....luckily it didn't last long! At least this time it wasn't as strong as the one Friday.   I finally have a WHOLE day off!!!  I have nothing much planned today, and I don't know what to do with myself.  I am sure I will find plenty of things to do. I went to our employee gym openhouse yesterday after work.  OMG!!!!! I am so freaking excited!!! We have the best equipment in the world!  Our equipment is top of the line, and we have enough to not have to wait for each machine.  They also gave us a sheet of excercises to do on the machines, and it is the "Fitness Training Program" that was designed specifically for the equipment that we have.  There are free weights and dumbells as well.  And the most awesome piece of equipment in there is the "Ultimate Strecher"  which is nothing more than monkey bars that are specifically made to help you strech out before you work out.  I am so ready!  The ellipticals and the treadmills all have individual tvs on them, and you can watch whatever you want.  The gym is open to all employees from 5 am-9 pm, 7 days a week, and it is free!!!  That is the best part of all of it!  They have provided us also with a shower area as well, so I can "Hit the gym" then "Hit the showers"  and then go right to work!  I am so ready!!!!  It opens for use tomorrow morning, so you can guarantee that I will be there!  My GOAL and PLAN is to go every day that I can.  I would love to go every morning before I go to work, that way I would be able to keep my heart rate up and continue to burn those calories that I so need to.  We will see how well that plan goes tho! LOL Have a wonderful day.  I am going to try to get out and about in a bit and get some steps in!  I have been slacking the past few days due to the nasty weather, but its supposed to be in the 70s by midday.......so watch out, here I come!  I would love to hit the links or the driving range today as well.  I need to find me some golf shoes.  If anyone has a pair of size 8 1/2 or 9's and would like to get rid of them, please let me know! LOL   Gotta go! TTYL
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning all! Back to the grindstone today....work.  I have a long day today, have 2 meetings tonight, so I wont get home until about 9pm.  I mowed the yard yesterday and we have a hill you have to mow long ways and sit over on the side of the mower to keep it from tipping and I couldnt keep it down because I dont have the weight to do it anymore.  My husband was having to walk behind me and kind of hold it down...lol! I had a exciting wow moment over the weekend.....I tried on a pair of 14 capris and they fit.  I was so excited!  I havent been in a 14 in so many years.  Then this morning I had another wow. Got on the scales and I am down 100 lbs.  Woo hoo!!!!!!  Spaz Everyone have a great day and enjoy the sunshine we are suppose to have.

Well good afternoon all..... I have fed the kids and they are outside enjoying the beautiful day..... I talked to my Mom about my bloodwork this morning. So far, my calcium and protein are low.  Protein the cut off is 6.3, mine was 6.2, so I am just barely low.  the calcium, I am not sure....but I am really slacking on my milk....and that is probably where both levels are becoming low....so back to my milk it is.  Have to go back in today and have the zinc redrawn......and lots of results are still not in......so that is all I know for now. We had our first soccer game with my 8 year old yesterday....work a skort and flip flops....got my feet BURNT!!!!! Getting my DH packed for his trip to the race at Talladega.....and starting to pack for my trip to NC. The scale is all sorts of screwed up, I think a lot of it is from fasting and my bloodwrok....it has everything off whack with my system...... I have been having some weird tingling sensation right across my upper back......kinda like my skin is numb....anyone have a clue on this? Thx to all who have sent me supportive messages.....I WILL get to Century status, just making my trip a little slower than most I guess!!!!!! Love and Hugs, Holly PS.  Any ideas why Dr. C. draws a selenium level on us?

Holly I think it is just an absorbtion issue. Zinc and Selenium are trace minerals that our bodies need and since we don't absorb well post op it is just one of the levels they measure.  As far as the tingling goes I've had something similar but I had it before surgery.  My PCP told me it was due to my thyroid. It comes and goes.  Sometimes on my right leg, sometimes on my back.  I work in a lab in N Ind and just had to draw a patient of Dr Huses this morning for a whole slew of stuff.  Zinc and selenium included.   It has been a wierd morning.  It was slow from 8-10 (maybe becasue of the dense fog we had) then it it was like someone opened the flood gates.  I worked thru lunch to get caught up.  Now it is dead.  Not complaining and I hope I just didn't jinx myself.   Linda, good luck with the job interview.  I know how it is to work with someone like you had at your other job.  I had one like that a few years ago.  I almost left my job becasue of her.  I decided to wait it out and she finally left to take a managers job elsewhere. Boy do I feel sorry for them.  She's one of those people you never wanted to turn your back on because she always had her knife ready to plunge into your back.  I hope to stay where I am until I'm ready to retire.  In August I'll have worked for the same employer for 35 years! I plan to work 8 - 10 more years.  Then hit the road and see this country.  (If we can afford to buy gas then)

Hi everyone!                   I FINALLY am able to get onto SOME of my computer programs. I couldn't even get in my computer here at work at all until about 12:30. The main program I need to get into to let the absence management people know that I'm back won't let me in...and it may take ~48 hours before it does! I'm surprised they aren't screaming already. Dr. Gupta's nurse called and I'll be taking off of work Thursday for a colonoscopy. We're still tring to figure out why I have this diarrhea going on. So..I'm back to work..sorta.                       I can technically leave ~2:45. Since that is only 40 minutes from now, I think I'm gonna make it. We have a guy here looking at our equipment pc's...total different set-up than our desk pc's. Anyway..I'm not sure yet but I may need to stay until he's ready to leave. I'm his usually contact person. My boss has been acting as the contact while I was gone..but that was one thing he was very quick to turn back over to me today...lol! Besides, I think my boss left at 10 for the day.  The sun's shining so who could blame him??? Anyway, I'll be here until I can walk that service guy out of the building.                So..I haven't really gotten anything done except delete a bunch of emails..and felt darn lucky to be able to do that. I could definately take a nap though!                      Thanks for the thoughts & prayers today. They are probable why I was able to make it all day! Sherri
