I'm New Here!

Hello Everyone, I'm new here.  I have been on here around a month reading each of your posts, wanting to learn as much as I can.  Everything has happened very fast for me.  I went to the seminar  with Dr. Jones, the end of January.  I got my approval from my insurance company in less than two weeks after the paperwork was sent in, (March 18th).  Then my surgery was scheduled for May 2nd.  I'm a little nervous now!  I can't believe it is happening this fast.  I go for my pre op tests this Thursday.   I really look forward to getting to know all of you.  You all are so supportive of each other, that's wonderful! I look forward to many more posts! Thanks Sherry

I am new here too.  Sounds like we are on the same time frame!  I also wento to the semianr the end of January/Early Feb and just got my approval, now I am just waiting on a date.  I hope I get my date as fast as you did!

Welcome Sherry & Pug From what I have heard Dr Jones in an excellent surgeon.  You guys are well on your way to a great journey and wild ride.  Glad you found us here, you will love it and become addicted to this board.  I come here several times a day.  We have lots of gatherings so try to make it so we can meet.  There will be a clothing exchange I believe in July.  You will probably be needing some new clothes by then.  Its a fun time!

Good for you... mine went pretty fast too.. no time to sit and think about it... thank goodness... Welcome to the board... What to take with you to the hospital=walking slippers, a puzzle book or lite reading material.. something to walk in, chapstick and hand lotion... May 2nd is the first day of the BEST of your life!! get ready for a journey... yep it MIGHT be a little bumpy from time to time... but it isnt boreing and it IS very rewarding!!! Thank you all for your warm welcome!  I had to go to my pre op class today.  It was a little long, but I learned alot!  I hope I will be able to meet you all also.  The support seems very important to all of this!
