Tomorrow is my day
I can't believe my RNY is tomorrow! I have to get so many things in order. The kids are staying with people away from home so not only do I have to pack for myself but them too. If there is a will there is a way!!
I have a question about surgery at St V's. There was 3 things I know they said to bring they breathing thing, and firm soled shows, BUT what else was it? Thanks

Wendy, I'm so excited too!!! My kids are staying with my parents tomorrow night so my husband can stay late with me, so I've also got to pack for them.
The only other thing I had to bring would be any medications, like nasal spray, eye drops or birth control pills. I've got my iPod, a book, my surgery book (the binder we got at class), a sippy cup for the ride home, and some comfy clothes to wear home, plus the spirometer. I'm wearing my crocs there tomorrow, so those will be my soft soled shoes to use while doing laps. Oh, if you take your own pillow, put it in a dark or bright colored pillow case, not pastel or white...makes it easier to keep it separate.

Amy, I just wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers for a speedy and pain free recovery. I am so excited for you and the wonderful changes that are going to start happenig in your life. I am sending you love and hugs and remember to sip and breath. Don't forget your chapstick either you are going to need that.

also i kept getting dry coughs so sugar free cough drops or peppermints kept my throat wet.
like a dummy i forgot to pack my undergarments so it was up to my hubby to bring them..lol

Wendy, I want to wish you luck and send prayers up for you for your big day. You are going to in for such a wild ride but it is the most fun one you have ever been on. I wouldn't change a thing that I have gone through for anything in the world. I am praying for a speedy and pain free recovery for you. Don't forget the chapstick because you will get dry.
