IT"S MY LAST DAY OF RADIATION


I'm so excited you have no idea. It's finally all over and I can now begin the process of healing and getting my energy back. I have such a new appreciation for life. I can't imagine having to fight  this long term. It's so emotionally and physically taxing. But I'm done. I can have my normalcy back now. Oh I'm soo sooo sooo thankful for life. Sweet Life.

Quinntin got his six month shots yesterday, so he was up and down all night long. I'm sure gonna need a nap this afternoon. Thank goodness for grandma stopping by. The doc said he was normal in weight for his age but was to tall. To tall? He's almost 30 inches. I thought he was heavier then taller but I guess I was wrong. Next Tuesday he'll be 7 months old. Boy has time flown.

Gage is so busy with sports. He's practicing swimming for Special Olympic Summer Games in June. And also Volleyball. And he's the manager for the Middle School 8th grade Baseball team. He's working the next two weeks on a rocket science project and writing a report on babies for his health class (instead of bringing home a computerized baby his teacher told him he could write a report instead due to Quinntin). He's also doing a dramatization at the local park on Thursday of the civial war. My gosh he's so busy. He asked me last night if I was proud of him. I just hugged him real tight and cried. I told him I was prouder then he'd ever realize. TO have all the learning difficulites and emotional difficulities he's had to over come to be where he is now is ...... welll to me... certianly amazing beyond anything. I'm soooooo proud of him.


Well... about time for me to head out that door and get the last of this radaition treat over with and start my physical therapy. There's a good joke about my physical therapy that I wrote last week on my myspace blog. So those of you who have read it should be chucklin right now, hahahahahahah!

Jodi, I am so glad that you are finally finished. Now things can go on and you can look forward to all of the last minute planning for your wedding. Hello All, Not a lot going on for me today.  It's my husband's birthday and I'm going to make him a cake tonight (he's gone fishing so I should have time before he gets home).   Jodi, I'm so glad to hear that this will be your final radiation treatment!  Gail, Brian and I are planning on coming out this Saturday.  We'll do whatever you need.   I hope everyone else is having a great day.  To all the newbies who are having surgery or who have recently had surgery, welcome to the loser's bench.  It's a heck of a ride!   To everyone not feeling quite up to par, I hope you feel better soon.

Happy Hump Day Everyone.   Can I first start by saying how much I love this board?!?!?!?!  Let me say it again, I love this board.  I am still reading a lot and learning names and such.   Just thinking good thoughts for Wendy and Amy today, how exciting.  Me....I am still waiting on the call from the dr office to schedule.  I am going to make my follow up call with them this afternoon, trust me when I get scheduled you will hear me scream. MORNING EVERYONE,  Today is busy for me. I have to go to Lebanon and get groceries, get bills paid, and then I'm going to pick up my winnings- yep, I WON!!! I recieved a call from one of the Realtors that I entered my name in for a $25.00 gift card at our local home & garden show, & I WON-woo~hoo!!!  I never win, so this is a real blessing for me. THANKS TO MY SECRET ELFSTER- I AM GOING TO SHARE IT WITH MY DAUGHTERS -THEY LOVE IT TOO!                                                                                                       IT WAS SO NICE TO FIND A PKG. ON MY DOORSTEP WHEN I GOT HOME FROM JODI'S.YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL TO ME!!    Jodi- your last one- !!!! Now, I want to use your " physical therepy" after you are done- hee~hee!!!  I am glad Quinn did ok with the Drs. appt. I'll see you tomorrow!!! REST today, ok?!!!    Ok, enough of the "MOM", right??!!Hee~hee! Sherri- be so careful with those pills- I had a horrible time getting them in, and then RAN to the bathroom- oh the cramps were aweful! If you don't think you can use them, ask Dr.Gupta for the liquid kind- I found out afterward they could have perscribed it!!! I am thinking of you girl.I am so glad Tiff got the job- woo~hoo! Things can only get better for her/them.   Brenda,MistyLynn,AlisaJJ & Gail, Praying you are all feeling better today. Hello All, Wow I am really posting late it's 6:15 pm . I am feeling better I was in bed all day. I made a doc appt. with Dr Huse, its Monday.
