I went to my last support group meeting before surgery &
and thumbs up
,and get too much of one thing and not enough of another. My "norm" is 60 grams protein daily, 3 vitamen tabs in the am.- and calcium- one at 2 and one at 8pm.Make sure you do seperate your vitamens and calcium, so they have time to absorbe.
Pills, 1 hr. before breakfast- thyroid especially.I drink between 64-75 oz. of fluids daily- in the form of water, decaf tea, and decaf coffee.I don't count my liquid protein as a fluid either.
I wish you well on getting you date soon! You have done all of the leg work, now comes the good part!Ellen

Thanks Ellen and Linda. I know it's a little early for me, but I have a lady that is 8 months out. She hasn't been counting her protein at all. I thought maybe that was the reason for her slow weightloss. Sherry, I can't believe how quick the days are going by. I have been trying to get caught up at work, and it is going okay. The doctor I work for is in the process of getting me a laptop, and securing our system at work. This will enable me to work from home should I feel like it. So, this is taking the edge off of the worry. My husband and I share responsibilities at home, so I am not so worried about that. He is pretty great. I hate doing dishes and laundry (the putting away part), and he hates dusting and cleaning the bathroom. So he takes care of the kitchen and laundry, and I take care of the rest. Well, I am off to work. Thanks again ladies. Best wishes, Kim
