Man...what a week!

Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy....things just get busier and busier.  I can't believe it's only Wednesday!  I feel like I've already worked a whole week!  Hopefully after Friday, things will finally slow down around here.  My fingers are crossed anyway. Troy got some wonderful news yesterday that I just have to share with you!  He's been in the lab at AK Steel for almost 10 yrs now.  He works a swing shift, 4 days then 4 nights with 4 off in between.  This schedule makes him work some weekends and some holidays.  He got promoted to "Compliance Officer" yesterday and so now he works Monday - Friday all days!  No more nights!  No more weekends!  No more holidays!  And even a nice raise to boot!  Whoohoooo....way to go Honey!  It all starts this coming Monday.  Of course this means he won't be coming to Indy next week with me to my 6 month appt.  Oh well...its' worth it! I had an interview with our local paper today.  They're doing a story on my surgery to help promote the support group I'm starting.  The first meeting will be held on May 20.  I'm really excited about it.  I hope some people come.  I really need some support.  Especially on those weeks when I can't get on here very much.  Stress really makes me want to eat and I'm super duper stressed out right now!  AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I'm still planning on meeting up with some of you guys for a late lunch next Thursday.  Also, I'd be happy to visit the unit at St. Vs if anyone is having their surgery next week. I'm thinking the Holiday World day is going to be June 20 or 27.  I'll have it nailed down by Monday and we'll officially set the date. I hope everyone is doing well.  I've missed you guys so much! Congrats, Jacqui.  I know you are happy to have Troy get the promotion.  That is great!  May 20th is the first meeting?  I may decided to run down there and meet with you all!  It isn't that far away for me to get to Santa Claus, if that is where you are holding the meeting.  Just let me know.  I am excited for you about having the interview as well.  I will try to get ahold of a copy of the paper.  So proud of you! So very proud!

Can't wait for Holiday World!  I just hope that I can get the day off! It sounds like so much fun! Keep us posted on days and times!
