Doctor

HI all I was wondering if any on you have had Doctor Steve Clark for WLS?  I have an appointment on May 22 to get my insurance started..I have already started on April 17th and saw a different doctor that I didn't care for because he was not listening to me what I wanted, he kept pushing RNY and I don't want that done I am going for the sleeve to be done I have done my research and the sleeve seems like the right tool for me to be healthy.  Holly      

Hi Holly, I didn't have Dr Clark, but he is a very nice person the only reason I didn't use him was what at the time I had to have a hospital with the Circle of Excellance. And at that time St Francis or Comm, South did not have But they do now. I saw Dr Clark as being very informative and supportive doc.  Love ya. Hugs & Prayers, Gail

Hi, I have been hearing about the sleeve, can you give me some information on that surgery, and how it works as a opposed to the lap band. thanks tracey

Hi, the sleeve is part of the stomach is removed and looks like a banana and also with the sleeve they don't attach the intestines to the stomach..you can find info on the VSG Forum tells you all you need to know with people who has had it or ones who is going to have it..I hope this helps you.
