Saturday, Saturday!

Hi everyone,  Well, gotta work today ( Fathers Day Sale) so getting on here for a quick minute. Dana is going in with me & building grills- the guys we have mess them up, & take forever, so they asked him to help! Nice huh? Well, last nite at work was something- I think everything that could happen did. Our computers shut down( terrible lightening storm) a guy came in to get his grill ( he bought it Tues.) & it was broken-talk about a mad customer!!, had to comp a freezer & refrige, the del. guys forgot to take a hose for a dishwasher & install it- huh???&More! Geeze, sometimes i feel all I & Dave do is clean up the messes others make! The boss's surgery went well- now I just hope he stays home and recoops. He has a tendancy to come in and disrupt everything- so much pain meds. he's nasty/grouchy/pushy right now- customers have walked out the door cause of it. If he doesn't get it together soon, I am afraid he won't be in business.     Got any plans for Father's Day? To all you Dad's ,grandpas,uncles, nephews, brothers out there- Happy  Men's day!!!!    My Dad is buried in Texas- sure wish I could visit his grave, but i hve so many fond memories of our times together. Funny how the older I get the more forgiving I become of the past. It may not have been perfect, but they did the best they knew how, & for that & their love, I am grateful. Well, gotta go- have a wonderful weekend & keep the faith all you  folks who have gone thru all these storms/floods- It will get better!     

Good Saturday morning, Ellen and all my loser and soon to be loser friends.  It is a beautiful day today in Nothwest Indianan. The sun shines so brightly this morning. The temperature is cool but it is suppose to be hot again today. Tommorrow is suppose to be yet more rain. But then again what it new here in Indiana? I hope that those hit so hard by the rain and the flooding have a better day today. My prayers remain with all of you.  Yesterday was a rummage sale day. I was so enthusiastic to get going on them and then once I got going I got to the point that it wasn't fun anymore. Bill on the other hand ejoyed himself. He got a really nice air compressor for $15. That was our bargain for the day I guess. The only other thing that we bought was a portable cd holder for a dime. That was for me so I was a cheap date yesterday I guess. lol  I have my cousins granddaughter's 1st birthday party today. She is just the cutest little girl you ever wanted to see. She looks like her mom and she is a cutie too. I just went and got her a card and put money in it since that is something that they can use to get her what she wants/needs. I have no idea what she has or what she doesn't. Personally I am going to be happy when it is over and I can come home. I am just having a rotten day today.  I am just not feeling to good this morning. I have a headache and I just feel like ick. I am not sure if I am working on  gettig a sinus infection but I am glad that I am going to the doctor on Monday. I should know by then and if I am I can get a script for an antibiotic. I really think that is what is cooking here with me. I had a bad headache yesterday too so that kind of tells me something. With all of the rain that we have been getting it sure doesn't surprise me.  I guess I had better get going. I have some things to do around here and I have to get ready for my social event of the day. lol You ca tell that I have not much of a life if the birthday party is a social event for me. lol I am sending love and hugs to all. Hey there gang, Alot has gone on here this week......Last night we took Terry out for Fathers Day dinner, we went to Joe's Crab shack. Its the first time we have been there. We tend not to go to seafood restaraunts because I do not eat any type of seafood. But We went to go to the Cheesecake Factory at the greenwood mall and the electricity was out at the mall so up the road we went to Joe's...Terry loved it and we found out Bella loves Crab...she couldn't get enough of it. The waiter forgot the stuffed mushrooms so he brought us 20.00 in Gift cards, then he forgot Tylers rootbeer so He brought us 10.00 more....So a 54.00 dinner will end up costing us 24.00, not bad. We actually had such a good time and Terry loved the food we didn't mind that they forgot a few things. SCORE! I don't like seafood but I love watching people eating it, is that weird? My coworkers half sister past away the other day of a very aggressive stomache cancer that is so rare, about 7 months ago they gave her 3-4 weeks to live and she fought for 7 months, amazing. So alot at work and with the Martinsville store going under the flood, we have been very busy....Fathers day is big on Ice Cream cakes, too! So they have been doing 100 cakes the past few days. We probably have the best Ice Cream cakes in Indy, Our Cakelady is soo talented...anyway, I digress! This morning I was 189....I feel more emotionally at this number than I did at ONEDERLAND. 9 more pounds and its pretty much what I weighed in High school....OOHHH reminds Goodwill half off day...ned to get going.. Good Morning My Dear Family, I feel really good today, so I think I will clean some windows today  . I think my daughter & family will be over for Sunday dinner, So I think I might go to the store with Michelle & John. Hello Ellen, I posted a little earlier I did want to say something about Father's Day. My step mother will not tell me and / or my  siblings where my father is buried. We have tried everything to find out. He was a very good father as well as a man, everyone loved.  I know hes looking down and telling me not to cry. Love ya. Gail

hey Gail, I actually just live about 15 min. from you. I live in Camby...We go and eat at Steak and Ale once in a while and see a movie at the theatres there. ( metropolis is tooo crazy with kids to see a movie there1) Actually the dinner was great, but I wasn't going to turn down 30.00 in Gift cards. LOL How are you feeling? Hoping your feeling great soon. Happy Fathers day....My Goodwill trip was OK, nothing fabulous, 2 barbies, a new black pillow sham for tyler, a pair of shorts ( teeth chatters.......) for me. I haven't worn shorts in, I don't know maybe 5-6 years, yikes, I am nervous! Then off to our new Walmart here in Camby.....SO excited somewhere other than Meijer to shop :)  XOXOX shanna
